I’m glad that the Magic5 got two sharks out of the deal afterwards; I’m even happier that Robert Herjavec was kind to let Mark Cuban in. Robert’s got a huge heart for others.
Yes Robert has a huge heart for others...like when he cheated his wife with some younger woman and divorced her. And when he constantly screws over these people when cameras aren't rolling, does not answer calls etc.
@@seanentrikin9263 I meant lost the actual bidding war. Normally people want him terribly bad, but this time he was on the "begging" side and he ended up not getting the deal until he privately convinced Robert afterwards. It's just a testiment to how great an opportunity Magic5 was.

3:50 how did they just move to the U.S? I doubt they spent $1.8 million on a TEA investment. And it doesn’t seem like they would qualify for any other visa considering they are self-employed owning their own visa and their Wives are from Denmark.
How much of that $2.2 billion industry is parents buying cheap goggles at Walmart who would never consider spending $50 on goggles? How much of that market (if any) are snorkels? What about scuba goggles? I think this is a really interesting company doing something really cool but they are fighting for share in a niche that is going to make it tough to ever scale huge. I'm actually not even sure why all 5 sharks jumped on this so aggressively. Was it just the rapid growth? Or was there more here than meets the eye that didn't get into the final cut?
Depends on if you're just taking your kids to the kiddie pool at the park or if they're a serious competitive swimmer. If they are the latter than you want the best because it gives them an advantage.
@@robinabernathy2829 you do, but they have to sell a crap ton of them at $60 each with a cost of $38 (cost + CAC) to make enough money to return the investment on a such a high valuation.
@@TactileTherapy Oh, I didn't miss that, but I'd be shocked if they actually have some amazing proprietary tech. I work in the tech world and when a small company says they have some custom built IP outside of their core competency to do something revolutionary its almost always smoke and mirrors or a house of cards.
Fantastic idea, but I still have no idea why they get so aggressive over certain companies than others lol. Sometimes they refuse to touch some incredible businesses and then will fight over absolutely terrible ones.
mark cares nothing about swim goggles. he is interested in the robotics portion and the on demand manufacturing capability shoes, clothes, hats, fingernails, cars eats, steering wheels, tools anything that a perfect fit will increase value

They have an advanced payented facial recognition sowftware and they are a robotics company that can build many other products thats why sharks where so interested
Sure lot of people buy wallmart specials for kids who are continually growing, but if anyones kids are doing competitive swimming or adults who want a decent google will for sure pay for those custom goggles for 50$. I barely swim and would buy a pair. Swimming is a huge market even for the casual person having a nice fitting google to use a couple times are year is worth 50$.
They can build other similar products. If they have the right guy to lead them they will discover it and save themselves. Time will only tell of course
$15M valuation for a goggle company? 🤨This video was cut short! No way Cuban would be interested in a goggle copany unless he was impressed with the tech....Cmon shark tank, show the complete episode!!!
Well If it were me I'm more inclined with Nirav and Kevin. The product was a hit. Too much market demand etc. they also offer help and expertise. Man given the conditions even the cost of equity is way more than the cost of paying 1M out of 500k debt +3% equity. You can even think of it like you give them 3% for 500k and have payed them 1M for Thier help and expertise.just say😅😅😅😅
After the show Mark got in the deal, him and Robert each to 500k for 3.25%. Crazy they basically got what they wanted.
No way how 😂😂
@@Jbeats37 I guess back stage.
thanks for spoiling the pitch
Imagine reading the comments before watching the pitch and then complaining about it...
Is this true? That's actually awesome
Sometimes the best tactic in negotiating is saying what needs to be said and then JUST LISTENING. Congrats guys!

Robert at the end, he's just trolled Mark out that deal 😂
Mark got in after the show and partnered with Robert.
This is the best Shark tank video I've seen.
6:02 SAVAGE HIT ON KEVIN 😂
This was a dogfight 😮 👏🏽
I just came back from vacation just WAITING to watch an episode on my lunch, and this was an absolute banger. God is real
This was one of the greatest battles between sharks!
The cobra kai guy
He should invent the karate chop swimming stroke.
Oh wow!! Another duplicate post of a deal we already saw years ago!!
This is a good episode. I love to see Mark put up a fight, and lose 🤣.
He won though. Him and Robert partnered up after the show. 😉

When you have a Charlie Sheen look alike come in with the magic 5 on his top you know sh hits about to happen 😂

Sharks displaying all their savagery literally in the swimming pool. Lot of blood in the water.

Mark's ego was hurt for losing that deal
Absolutely, they always try to flex their resumes when they hand you with iffy deals

Costco Meatloaf and mashed potatoes
Meal prep. Brown rice, ground beef and broccoli
