Interesting conversation no doubt. Having said that, there is a need for another perspective, because to be honest he sounded like a spokesperson for the Pakistani state instead of a neutral observer of CPEC related developments.

Without a system of governance in place since the birth how can this country move forward, CPEC or no CPEC. The army rule from behind will always hinder the emergence of a viable system and true leadership. Let there be no doubt about it.

Stop this prejudice. The one who appreciate Imran khan is Right and one who appreciate army is propagandist. He clearly mentioned that CPEC progress slowed down immediately when Imran khan became prime minister. Reality is that IMRAN KHAN is a blatant liar who takes refuge of islam, talks about riasat e madina and does exactly against it. U-Turn Master. When he was asked about the genocide of uyghur Muslims by China, he replied it is the internal matter of China. Women dance in his jalsa and he talks about risast e madina. Moreover, PTI in general and shireen mizari in particular opposed the capital/ public punishment of rapists. So, everything is lie. A senseless man is polarizing the complete nation and every institution.

Since the founding of this country which btw was designed by British themselves a fear was created especially among the people of Pakistan that India has never accepted this partition and we are on the menu this anxiety worked good enough to keep its control under armed forces rather let the country move toward real democracy. And after 75 years we are still living with same fear and anxiety.

Excellent vlog, but he is definitely a spokesman of someone (or “debriefed” his words) and definitely taking someone’s line (his unconscious voice) at 32:47. So as he said, he made this interview controversial.
At 08:20 he is extremely happy to mention prime minister NS which is ok but please admit for whom you are speaking for!
At 07:58, he beautifully, I must say deliberately avoided PTI but mentioned Jamat-e-Islami, ANP, PMLN & PPP as possible governments 😂
Also, extremely happy when talking about motorway and gaslighting Wajahat bhai, when WSK was traveling safely with him on that motorway 😊 08:46
at 09:53 mentioned CPEC slowed down during PTI but it came back on track later! 😉
Very positive promotion of caretaker or chairtaker PM.
All good & no worries, great program, but he shouldn’t have promoted himself as a “neutral” expert. Take care!

No one knows your true intentions and biases, however we make our perception based on what & how you present yourself. Unless you are extremely good in faking (btw, many more people than you may think can do it very well), your true colors are reflected/displayed and seen by others when you talk and express yourself more. Wajahat, this is one of the more informative vlog with Mustafa. These are the kind of vlogs I would love to watch because it forces me to think and ask questions. As Mustafa said, USA already set its long term strategy and picked India, why are we not resuming/reviving our decade long relationship with China? I had my faulty thinking that CPAC is dead because establishment decided to move towards US and somehow that cause rift between Pakistan and China, I was wrong. I liked how Mustafa explained the nuances of our relationship with China and how things are working out in the background. If you listen to Palki Sharma on TH-cam, she always a segment on Pakistan’s relationship with China. Like this session!

This gentleman is just giving the official story. In reality we dont have money to import fuel for many power plants installed under CPEC, so those were a bad decision. Plus quaid-e-azam solar park is a failure as well due to frequent dust storms and it will never expand to 1000 MW

Excellent discussion. Is there any data on how many new jobs were created as a result of CPEC? And has anyone one done a cost benefit analysis of the project as a whole? For such large scale infrastructure projects to be deemed successful, should we not also measure the extent to which the pakistan economy and the condition of its people have improved in the last ten years?

A person on Chinese payroll will portrait a rosy picture for showing gratitude to them. Pakistanies employment opportunities are not improved as China engage Chinese workers only and they use Chinese materials. Because of this the money invested in the project will not reflect in Pakistan economy or market as the amount is siphoned back to China.

Only Chinese are getting jobs in all projects as China engage them only under different pretext

No improvement is visible in the life of Pakistan people rather it is worsened, example the electricity charge increased three times

This video needs to be redone from a non official perspective as this guy made Pakistan look like the swan of the east rather than the feeble vulture it is.

    Salam WSK
Your guest today is complaining about 18th amendment and intra-provincial matters are sometimes slowing the project....But everybody knows that in PAKISTAN the actual power lies with the military establishment and they sre looking after it. And for them 18th amendment or intra-provincial matters etc etc....or any other constitutional laws doesn't matter them ( and we are all seeing this now ).So how come they are unavailable to handle these things.........VERY SURPRISING......??? Morever your guest said that US has already chosen INDIA as their partner according to a report. But why then the military eastablishment in PAKISTAN is not understanding this scenario and not planning or foreseeing the future keeping in mind our interests....????
