As someone born and raised in Connecticut I just learned of new places all 45 minutes to an hour from me that I MUST check out.

I grew up in Bpt and drumstik is my spot. One thing I miss most about living in BPT are the food spots... Mainport, drumstik, El Coquito, famous pizza, five-star pizza, merrit canteen 😋
My brother hit some spots in my city. Hartford ct.
You picked three of the best. Five all day. The fourth would have been "The Old Tomlinson". They had a line far out of the door. The guy that never forgot an order still works there. When they moved, it's just not the same.

@@mateorivera3491 drumstick is pretty good. I tend to get the fried chix, Yello rice, deviled eggs, greens, candied yams. Ribs are ok too. Check it out. A few doors down is a dominican restaurant called sabor dominicano. Give them a try too if u like Latin food..

This video is a little deceiving although I love the Cricket your piece makes it sound like they have been around for 50 years when in fact they were closed for around 20 years original building has been torn down and a new building was erected down the road from the original site and reopened by people who used to work at the original Cricket do your research
