Solar Battery Charging for Your Car - Don't Get Stranded!

I do a lot of off-roading, and I wanted a solar charging solution that could charge my battery in the event that I got stuck somewhere in the sticks with a dead battery. I live in the Nevada desert, and it can get very hot in the summers. I, of course, avoid riding in the summer heat, but heat aside, there is a lot of wilderness out there. In this video, I show you how to install such a system and how fast it can actually charge your battery just enough to start your car.
The 50 Watt Renogy solar panel provides plenty of charging to my off-road vehicles batteries at a maximum of 3 amps. This is surprisingly enough power to charge a car battery in short order. I use a 10Amp MPPT solar charge controller made by LensunSolar.
I also cover installing a dual battery kit using AGM (absorbed glass matt) batteries by Odyssey and a battery isolator kit by TrueAm (True Amalgamated) Inc.

What's the O.D. of the roll cage tubing on the windshield bar? I can design and 3d print a roll cage mount for your power panel if you're interested
