I've always been a bit wary of this series, because I'd heard that it takes so many liberties with the stories. But now I'll definitely give it a shot, thank you! :)
There's a great 1998 Yugoslav black comedy/thriller film based on And Then There Were None, called Tockovi (Wheels). It's a modernised adaptation but they kept all vital points of the book. You can even find it on YT with English subtitles if anyone's interested. Enjoy ❤
Usually I don't enjoy Christie Plus (Christie plus sex and violence, Christie plus heavy social commentary, etc.). But this sounds different enough to be its own thing, and uses some of Christie's ideas in a fun way.
The series is very good. Just to give you some idea, I think the Ordeal by Innocence and Body in the Library episodes are probably the most Christie Plus, off the top of my head.
From what I can tell, seasons 2 and 3 are pretty different to season 1. There's new leads every season and they're set in different time periods and only 2 episodes from the 3rd season are actually adaptations. The finale of season 2 is also not a Christie adaptation but it's also a musical
@@shanigribben9158 That's terrible. I'm not sure if they are available anywhere else. I did find one or two stray episodes on other websites (not sure I'd trust those places) but they didn't have subtitles.
The Ordeal of Innocence episode is my favourite as well. Possibly the best adaptation of the book. Perhaps I'm the purist but i don't like when they change things too much, especially the murderer.
There aren't any good English-language Ordeal by Innocence so this one really stands out. The Marple one honestly isn't bad but adding Marple is a bit of a knock even if it's done well.

This was much more interesting than I expected :) great video once again.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! I have no seen that one and I'm always on the look out for foreign-language Christie.

I still haven't watched 2 or 3 yet but that is what I understand as well. Looking forward to it but they have big shoes to fill.
@@summationgathering Prime doesn’t have it in my country
