Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is the eagerly awaited sequel to the acclaimed medieval combat simulator and role-playing game Mount & Blade: Warband. Set 200 years before, it expands both the detailed fighting system and the world of Calradia. Bombard mountain fastnesses with siege engines, establish secret criminal empires in the back alleys of cities, or charge into the thick of chaotic battles in your quest for power.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is an action role-playing game with strategy elements. The fundamental gameplay premise is the same as previous entries in the series: the player builds up a party of soldiers and performs quests on an overhead campaign map, with battles being played out on battlefields that allow the player to personally engage in combat alongside their troops. Bannerlord, however, includes significant improvements to numerous elements of gameplay.
Sieges in Bannerlord are intended to be more strategic than they were in Warband. The player may construct a variety of different siege engines and strategically position them before the battle begins in order to target certain sections of the enemy fortifications. On the overhead campaign map, the player can choose to bombard the walls, possibly creating breaches that can be used once the battle begins. To discourage prolonged bombardments on the battle map, only the merlons, gatehouses, and siege engines will be destructible during the actual battle. The design of the defending castles and cities is intended to be biased in favor of the defenders; for example, murder holes are often located at key chokepoints, allowing the defenders to slaughter large numbers of the attackers before they can breach the gates.

Also, when you defeat a party in combat you gain half of its goods as loot and 10% of its money. If you let a couple escape you can talk to the survivors and they're more likely to surrender all of their goods to you, this is the best way to make money from raiding caravans

is this game worth purchasing? lost my friends and i used to play a lot of warband and Napoleonic wars I just didn't know how to lived up as the successor
yes it is a juicy game and the community is the best, playing online leads to funny moments and playing singleplayer is just a whole improvement of warband. I did some dumb challenge in my last vid: executing lords xD so that's one way to play this game haha

War crimes in bannerlord, so just regular bannerlord.
Yo, that was a SICK combat roll off your horse during the army battle. Just flies over the horse, across like ten meters, and just shoulder tucks and rolls back up onto his feet without a second wasted.
Get the highest tier Aserai Cav by batch training. Wait for all members of a stack to be ready to upgrade as they share experience among each other when one gets a kill. Takes like maybe an hour to get all of the ones you want by bringing aserai recruits into hideouts.

Series like this, Knight playthrough by Koifish, and trmplays modded playthrough taught me to be aggressive and take risks in Bannerlord. Last night, my lord, Raganvad, had 600+ men marching to a castle recently taken by the Battanians. I, with my 75 men, managed to outpace the king and set siege first, and, because the AI is more A than I, Raganvad and his men set off for a nearly city with 300+ defenders. It wasn't exactly easy and I lost 15 of my troops to the siege, but my men and I singlehandedly defeated 2 to 1 odds and I was made a lord for my bravery and cunning which allowed Raganvad to take the city as well. I just wish we were still at war with the Western Empire, those guys fucking HATE me because every lord I capture that isn't a friend of Raganvad is summarily executed for loot, and the West lost, idk, like twenty lords or something. I've got over 100k and I'm still Clan 2, capped at 83 men now.

I miss persistent world multiplayer mod, i was able to do so much, like roleplay as a princess at the same time be a doctor for my knights in a kingdom in a warband persistent world multiplayer server, today you can't do any of that in Bannerlord's persistent world mod and a lot of which in the game are still very catered to guys that plays the game.
There is no fun for girls that play the game.
I played through bannerlord as a complete mass murderer I went through and purged all of the factions and clans and man I ended up being so fucking rich. And at the end I had valandia left and they spoke to me and tried to set up trade and other such things but they were attacking my shit so I wiped them out completely and when I finished I had killed so many people it was horrifying

You make swords look like they should be banned from the Geneva Convention.
Yo simo, If you de equip you shield while using your cleaver it gains different stats, so it has better swing speed, handling, dmg, etc. This being said when you de equip your shield then it will use your two handed skill instead of the one handed, it still can be useful for hacking and the sides of massed up men and killing fleeing stragglers.
I'm aware, it's just i needed my shield on those few fights at the end

I literally always default to Battanians because half move penalty in woods is a fucking GODSEND when chasing lord's down. Just wait for them to pass through a forest, chase them down through it, catch up, badabing, badaboom, go to my dungeon, punks.

Well, Geneva convention didn't existed back then, that and M&B is a whole different universe, sooo....
Do you see all the crashes? Stuff like that (along with waiting for the workshop and how badly it runs on my computer) is the reason why I've decided to wait until the full release. You can't do that because you're a TH-camr but I'm not so I can.
Always remember: there can't be a Geneva Convention if you prevent Geneva from existing.
Playing my own kindgom in sandbox mode, killed most of the prisoner lords :D Got some vlandians left and the king of Khuzaits :D
regarding the crashes, downgrading your Battle Size and/or Corpses graphical settings should help. My guess is the game is trying to display too many corpses, given that it just seems to be crashing near the end of large-scale battles.
