My uncles b20 Vtec on his 1990 Integra he converted obd1 and used a Po6 obd1 ECU from a 92-95 EG Civic DX and added Vtec and chipped it anything works as long as it’s chipped for that tune basically the obd0 To obd1 conversation on the 90-91 Integra and even 3rd gen preludes are similar to the EFs and CRXs we found out minus converting DPFI to MPFI making the da9 and HF And SI models easier his tune is Chrome chip not the hondata but Chrome has its perks
I have a manual converted DA9, stock b18a1, im thinking of doing this conversion my question is are there differences as to which obd1 dizzy to get? are auto and manual the same? i figured a distributor from a manual dc teg would be ideal?
On mine 93 Honda Prelude H22 inside of my 94 Integra I had to put a resistor box my odb2 injectors had a high ohm and the 93 Prelude had a loam and I had a resistor box

Obd2 computer (ecu)can be fooled by at the ecu plugs by jumping the ckf wires to ckp On obd1 ecu you leave it unplugged or you cut the plug off whatever you wanna do or leave it plugged onto the sensor itll never do nothing on obd1 because obd2 and obd1 have a crank sensor inside the dizzy Obd2 honda they just added that crank sensor externally to make extra money when those went out by oil leaks..obd2 dizzys as well have the crank sensor inside the ecu so yeah

Hi Speedboy, Hoping you still read these comments. did a JDM D15 swap duel vtec, into a 1991 HF CRX. Have the Rywire harness, everythings hooked up. No resistor box due to obd1 injectors. We are not getting any injector pulse, car starts on starting fluid but wont start without it. Has spark and fuel, just seems to be an issue with the injectors not pulsing. How do we fix or trouble shoot this? cheers
Question: i have b16a with pw0 ecu which already has the knock sensor, oil pressure sensor & vtec solenoid. Do i still need to wire the extra wires to those three things?
SpeedBoy I have a 90 civic EX sedan 1.6l it had a d16a6 but was stolen. I got a d16z6 on it with p28 it started but doesn't have any power when i press the gas. I also bought the harness jumper since my harness is obdo. The o2 wires i have not use not sure how to do it and haven't been able to connect the vtec to my old harness. Any help would be awesome thanks.

Yes if your harness doesn’t come with those plugs you will need to run your own from the sensors to the ecu.
When running a wideband do I still need to leave my original single wire 02 sensor hooked up?
I have crx si stock pm7 ecu but I want to install a civic 98 inyector , do I have to delete the resistor?

8:14 isn’t there a wire that goes to that plug and run to a15 on ecu
My car is stock obd1 and it has to have resistor box... and obd2 doesn't require it..
Would this work the same for a 89 dohc zc

VRO 99K yes you will need a vtec distributor from any b series with vtec.

Well my motor is non v
VRO 99K so just use a non v dizzy on it. If it’s vtec use a vtec dizzy, for non v use non v dizzy.
