Series creator Eric Kripke recently took to Twitter, expressing his desire for a video game adaptation of The Boys after receiving praise from none other than Hideo Kojima, the legendary creator behind Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding. Kojima, who initially stopped watching The Boys because it reminded him too much of a project he was working on, has since caught up with the show and, like the rest of us, doesn’t want it to end. Kripke even suggested that Kojima take the lead on this potential game adaptation, and Homelander actor Anthony Starr is on board with the idea too.
While Kojima has multiple projects lined up, a collaboration for The Boys video game would make perfect sense if he’s interested. But even if Kojima doesn’t helm the project, Amazon seems committed to making it happen. The company has been investing heavily in games, with titles like New World and Lost Ark, and they are also publishing the upcoming Lara Croft Unreal Engine 5 Tomb Raider game from Crystal Dynamics. Recently, Amazon has been hiring for new positions within its games division, confirming that they are working on both original titles and games based on big licensed IPs-a category that The Boys certainly fits into.

What kind of The Boys game do you want to see?
I am honestly skeptical about upcoming games coming from developers that are not known as game developers. Like with marvel 1943 rise of hydra too, I am cautiously optimistic. The game could be really great, but it also could bomb too. With movies I am less hesitant because I go to a local disount theatre plays first run movies, so I am only out 7 instead of 70 dollars if I don't like a movie.
So many possibilities, an RPG create your own “hero” and work your way onto The 7; or a strategy game playing as the Boys to stop superhero shenanigans; open world sandbox and play as Homelander and wreck stuff…
A fighting game...or an open world game like saints row 4...
One where we play as Butcher and the Boys trying to take down Supes like Homelander, with a bonus alternate "evil" playthrough option of being a supe having to stay relevant in a celebrity status driven superhero hierarchy.

It could be amazing if it could go 4 different routes: 1 campaign being Homelander with 2 routes = Just lasering everyone and having a some ending. Another one with him grinding and planing and having another ending. Another campaign with Butcher just going killing sups with one ending and another more "ethical" with another ending. But I'm not holding my breath on it.

Imagine a story-driven game where you play as The Boys, struggling and fighting the uphill battle against superpowered opponents (maybe have the occasional Kimiko or Starlight mission to show the players a taste of the superpower system) then, after you beat the main campaign, you get to have free-roam fun as Homelander, Soldier Boy, and the other overpowered supes. I'd definitely get that.

The sheer amount of people who want to make their own superhero characters is astounding.
People would buy this game just because it has, “The Boys,” on it. But plenty of other people, (who haven’t watched the show mind you), would buy the game if it would let us make our own supes. So PLEASE let us make our own characters!

the boys video Game should do something similar to the Spiderman games where you play as different set of characters but it should also be an open world game where you can go anywhere you want but you also get a story mode where you play as Butcher or Home-lander there should also be side missions where you play as Frenchie Kimiko Hughie Star-light and MM where you have to sneak into Vought tower or Tek Knight's without getting spotted they can also have missions where you Play as A-train where you can run across the city or play the Deep and you can explore the ocean when the game is all over they can have a VS mode similar to injustice where any characters can interact with each other and Fight

I wanna see a black noir x soldier boy game set in the past. It would be the prefect antithesis to 1942 rise of hydra which is the Captain America and Black Panther game. That game would be more violent and obviously vulgar than the marvel counterpart and I’d just love to play as black noir especially cause we didn’t fully get to see all his powers in the show. I think with a Homelander game it would be a similar situation as to why we haven’t gotten a Superman game either. At least with Superman there are actually being on his power level in his verse but with Homelander no one actually comes close in the boys verse.

I think there’s a way to make it work between playing as the supes of the Seven (trying to seek access into the military, etc.) and as the Boys constantly trying to take them down via any means.
An additional storymode set in the past is a neat idea though. I imagine it could end up taking a lot of inspiration from the newly announced “Vought Rising” show, which is said to take place in the 50s featuring Soldier Boy and Stormfront.

Injustice literally made a game with the entire Justice League and villains work, twice. And Superman himself has had dozens of solo games. Not many attempts have been made for a Flash game but there have been tons of games featuring super speed, with Sonic being the most famous. It's not nearly as hard as you think. Especially since the power level of The Boys is hilariously below DC

And flash games have been attempted on Roblox they're just all kinda shit cause the cool stuff is locked behind robux most the time. And Sonic hasn't also had the best luck either but then there is exceptions like I think a lot of people liked frontiers. I guess what I meant is that I hope if they do make a game I feel like it should be kinda like suicide squad kill the Justice league where you play as the boys and not make it a paid service game but maybe kinda like Gotham knights but better and with at least 4 player. Super Speed was done very well also in Superman Returns, Saints Row, Warframe, Infamous, etc. There are a lot of ways they could make The Boys. They could recreate the main story, focus on one particular character or have you create your own supe and choose a path. They have so many options

The best I can think of is:u play a do whatever game where u have a custom character with random powers & u can do anything like kill,save,Dr*gs etc & your character if weak can die & then u play as another character.All characters can have their own story too like millionaire,doctor,broke, family of 2,loner etc

I think a cool immersive sim type game like Hitman, where you have to immobilise Supes in stealthy/non-stealthy ways. You could even have a Morality system where you can go lethal/non-lethal by killing or capturing supes like Dishonoured. I think the dark, gory comedy of the Boys would lend itself well to a game like that.

Dude an Alan wake 2 night springs type game would be crazy. They could have a few short like 1 or 2 hour campaigns, a water themed one with The Deep, a Noir stealth campaign, a soldier boy ww2 campaign and maybe a homelander one whatever that would be. main campaign could be about butcher hunting various supes and final boss fight would be homelander

There’s no way this is a good idea. Just imagine trying to fit five seasons worth of information into at best a 20 hour video game. There’s a reason you don’t make games off of TV shows, even movie time games are notorious for being terrible.

In my opinion I think the right people to make The Boys video game would have to be Rockstar. Ik they take a long time but it’s the quality they put out that separates them. Since we're being pedantic, The Boys refers to a team, that includes individuals with special abilities, that were assembled to save the world. Superheroes. The series is, according to literally everyone involved with it, including the writers of the show and creator of the comic, is about superheros. The unique selling point of the series is that it paints a more cynical view of superheroes than Marvel or DC and shows that many of them are bad people. But there are obviously superheroes in the traditional sense in that universe as anyone whose seen it or read the book will tell you.
