  • This is the last video in the series of Kentucky waterfalls. It's now mid April and the video begins at Cumberland Falls SP. The first clip is from the 12th when we doing another hike in the park with this view of the falls. Water levels were pretty high then, but when we came back on the 15th to spend more time at the falls, the water level had risen even more as you might notice. This worked out good, because we also did Eagle Falls which had nice flow. On our last day in Kentucky, we hiked to Vanhook Falls. The first part of the hike was along Pounder Branch which has some nice smaller falls. Vanhook Falls ends the video and is a must see if you are in the area.

Love this! Amazing geology in Kentucky. You should make these at least an hour long, if not longer!

Thanks! Kentucky does have some amazing landscapes and waterfalls. Another good thing is it's not that far from us in western NC.

It wasn't a full moon when we went. Did see a rainbow, though!

It was! There was such a big difference in the 3 days separating our visits. Must have been a lot of rainfall up river from where we were.
