What a guitar player. Mike Slamer is amazing. His guitar work on Steve Walsh's Glossolalia CD is also outstanding. Thanks for uploading this masterpiece!
Yes I just recently discovered him . He played all the solos on warrants first or second album. He's a monster player. Melodic technical tasty. Just the perfect rock player
Just listened to an interview with Beau Hill, producer of Warrants album in 1989....he said the solos were recorded with this guy, because at the time he felt they needed a little more flair than what Warrants guitarists were capable of. Hill had used Slamer on a couple of other albums, too. He taught the solos to Warrants 2 guitarists later so they could play them live. Supposedly, he's a really good dude, and obviously he's a great player. Got that Michael Schenker sound.
Dokonalá muzika,k tomu perfektní klip stylu Iron Maiden-Holly Smoke.Moc se povedlo,rád si poslechnu snad každý den po práci,než jdu spát,dává mi dobrou inspiraci na druhý den.Thank You. cz
Finally I see the faces behind Steelhouse Lane with "Seven seas" and the worlds greatest Ballad, "All I believe in"... I wish I could see you live in concert one day. You guys are great...
video good fun, glad to find you Mike still riff'n, must find out more of your stuff. Just love the CIty Boy guitar work you did way back. ...a big fan
Mike Slamer played in City Boy,a british band from the 70's. Then later her did Seventh Key (2 albums) with former Kansas bassist Billy Greer, also featuring Terry Brock.
This has become my favorite song. If I have to kick out 50 bucks for a used copy, that's what I'll do. But I'd rather put my money into supporting the album, and those that created it. If that's even a possibility. Any help?
Of course it sounds a lot 80s. To mention two bands that comes to cross my mind when I hear it: Giant and Winger. No problem to found the similarity in it...
Mike Slamer is the greatest guitarist the mainstream has never heard of.
slamer, the Grandmaster of melodic rock
Terry Brock is one of the greatest singer's of all time.

The whole album is phenomenal but Mike makes his living doing film scores and TV music so they didn't bother promoting it very much.. a lost classic
What is the album and artist this song cones from?
@@Dingbotz Nowhere Land by Slamer.
@@Freejack1971 thank you 🙏
What a shame they didn't get behind it.. That chorus hook stays in your head for daze
@tclzvmj sorry...is Billy still playing in Kansas?
Wow
Yeah, Mike's incredible! Hard to believe he ever played with a band as limp as City Boy!
@pinheadguy68 Former Kansas bassist?
Where's the one armed drummer? Seriously though, sweet song
Def leppard is still going.😉
Apparently Slamer was a friend of Mutt Lange and lent his rig to Leppard during Pyromania sessions
