- Food in Manta, the fishing capital of Ecuador, doesn't have to be expensive. Here are 5 traditional restaurants in Manta selling delicious cheap eats.
I wanted to share this video because when I asked about huecas in Manta, most foreigners didn't have suggestions for me. I'm so lucky in Cuenca that there's a strong culture of huecas, traditional hole in the wall restaurants that serve authentic food at great prices.
But it's not just about being cheap, at these places you'll see manual labourers next to people in expensive suits. It's all about the food and of course the aji.
But I discovered Manta has this culture as well, and thankfully Andres asked Ecuadorians for their suggestions we had amazing food in Manta
