    I think I’m your biggest fan. I ordered your autographed cookbook when you offered that, and every single weekend my husband and I look forward to watching your videos together. It’s like our little tradition now! You have completely changed our lives!! The way we grocery shop now is a total 180 from how we used to grocery shop before discovering you. I share your videos with EVERYONE, even shared your channel with my boss this week. I cannot thank you enough for what you do! You are changing lives!!

    Your channel is one of the main reasons I was confident enough to take the leap to keto. I used to eat take-out and pre-packaged, processed crap, but because of your cooking tutorials and such, I had step-by-step guidance and have learned to make lots of awesome stuff.
    Also, thanks for putting the bug in their ear that we Canadians need access to this stuff too! :)

    I make my own bone broth once a week. I don’t have a pressure cooker, so, I make it in a crockpot on high for at least 10 hours or until the little bit of meat falls off the bone. I don’t mind the smell at all. In fact, I love coming home to the smell of it! It welcomes me home with a reminder to eat healthy!

  • @surrendermore
    @surrendermore ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Hey Bobby, I agree that it's important to consume bone "broth" when I was young - many many years ago - because my parents - who were very smart - cooked and I "ate" bone broth as part of the chicken or beef, their fat and skin were not removed and set aside to consume later in a broth!! It's rather silly how people think these days.

    Bobby, Cod Liver Oil is a good thing and I'm glad that you mentioned it. My daughter and I buy the Kombucha too at times. I wanted to ask what about Molasses in the winter time and if that's good because it's a boost of iron and keeps you warm especially if you're prone to being anemic. You had some good items to choose from and you are right about those Cold-eeze and Emergen-C's, they are no good at all. Also that Airborne is another one that is no good.

And I too was very very careful about what I bought before ever finding your channel, but I have to say that I've gotten even more conscientious. Hi Bobby, I have a question for you. I read the daily recommended dose for Tumeric is 500-2,000 mg. Higher doses are not recommended for long term use. These Suja shots have 5000 mg. Do you take these Suja shots daily for long period? I have been taking them once a day for 2 months now and am wondering if I should only be taking half a bottle or maybe switch to pills with lower dosage? I know your not a doctor or pharmacist but just wondering your thoughts. Thank you

  • @tanhome7

    True story, we need more options up here in Canada 🇨🇦 I find it strange because healthy living and eating is not a foreign concept to this country but in terms of in store selection it sucks, especially if you’re not in a big city. Online ordering is the way to go if you can find websites that ship to Canada and don’t charge you a $20 for shipping.
    REALLY enjoy your videos and glad I found this channel!! I’ve been educating myself slowly over the last few years and I feel like I just gained more knowledge in a few days of binge watching your videos than the last 2 years, so thank you 🙏🏼 I wish more doctors would be more knowledgeable about these topics.

    Bobby love what you preach except about Cod Liver Oil. It should be cold pressed and definitely not fermented. The best ones to buy are Rosita, Nordic Natural (without the added vitamin D) and Jigsaw. These are all cold pressed.

    As always great video Bobby! I love Art since of humor, he is hilarious. As im on my way to whole foods now this was right on time. I need that lemon/turmeric drink recipe. I also found a really great cereal for my 4 year old called "Cheetah Chomps". He has been begging for cereal after seeing it on kiddie youtube videos. Ingredient list is perfect and flavor isnt too bad. I like them too haha. Thanks again guys!

    Is it alright to add a little raw honey to plain yogurt when you're ready to eat it or will that kill the probiotics as well? Love all your videos. I'm learning so much!

    • @psionicjinx

      I know this is a year old but, you can add both together just fine. A lot of Greek yogurt is made with honey. Watered down honey doesn’t kill bacteria in the way people think. It’ll just inhibit it from growing more. But it won’t kill off the bacteria in it.

    The supplement part at the end, reminded me that I’d love a video about kids health - I give my kids Smartypants multivitamins and bubblegum flavored cod liver oil. I’ve been realizing these are hardly good for them 😭 I mean, I’m doing the best I can with what I have, and they do love that Cod Liver Oil 😆. But I have yet to find a “clean” and sugar free gummy vitamin for them. It’s a tough world for parents trying to get their kids to not be addicted to sugar!!!

    Right next to the oils section you missed all the great canned fish (sardines, mackerel, anchovies & herring) high in vitamin D as well as omega 3's! Both good for a kickstart for the immune system (especially in winter!)
