Bought sivga 007 six month ago and i couldn't stand the stock pads. Now i am watching this video again and i realize you have the solution for the sweaty stock pads. I will go for the brainwavz valour pads.

I heard these have a sound signature similar to the 668B's. They've been on my mind for the last few months, but not many people reviewed them. Glad to see you just did!
HD668B is much brighter and has less sub-bass extension.

Zeos, please get the SV003 for your next Sivga review. With Brainwavz XL Hybrid Pads installed, I can confidently say that they are truly special... giant killers, perhaps.

Just received the 005's this morning. Review is pretty much spot on at first glance/listen. Putting the BWZ pads on really does improve them as well.
But on a whim I tried 1540 pads and I somehow like these even more. It opens them up just a bit, a little less, but slightly tighter low end and omg the comfort. Might just be me, but if anyone has the 005's and a pair of 1540 pads maybe give it a go (and tell me I'm completely wrong, not impossible).

I can confidently say that the SV003 - with Brainwavz XL Hybrid Pads installed - is the best closed-back headphone for ~$100... hands-down.

Great review. I was on the fence, leaning towards getting a pair, but this review pushed me straight over.
To anyone that has ears that are a slightly to tall for regular circular brainwavz, the ovals DO fit on these cans, and get you a bit of extra height in the ear cup.
It's not a perfect fit, but it is very comfortable, and only looks weird if you look closely at the fit.
Thats great news since i have spare pair of HM5 pads, or not... Just waiting for my new SMSL AD18 and Zeos spend my money again :)

Could you review the Creative Sound Blaster X7 for an audiophile take on a gaming style Amp/Dac?
Also I'm not in anyway an audiophile, I came across your channel while in search for a new pair of headphone's for music listening/gaming and immediately I went out and ordered the HD58X's after your review, just the way you talked about the sound and experience you get from a good set of cans.... Either way, you make some very entertaining videos, I've found myself just browsing and watching your content.
Picked up both the 005 and 007, also a set of BWZ Protein Pads. I personally prefer the 007 with (or without) the pad roll versus the 005. (do enjoy the 007 more with the protein pads, didn't pick up the velours) I just don't enjoy the highs on the 005 and the bass produced. (more on the mid-high end if I had to explain) Plus with the 005 there was a weird issue when I would lightly press on both cans (for a good seal/seat) and one or both sides would cut out.. a quick tap and it sound would return. (maybe just a build issue or something with my particular set) Maybe another 005 owner can confirm... when the cans are on your head press both cups into your skulls a bit and see if the sound cuts out.
Sending back the 005's after much A/B testing. This was both done with a FX-Audio DAC-X6 and Schiit stack (Modi/Loki/Magni)
I think the real important question is how do this compare to the hd58x?
Because in my mind, if the 58x is near the 660s then nothing below $200 would be even close to them and spending the extra 80 for them over these would be a good deal

Just bought the 005; their headbands and yokes look basically identical to the newish Monoprice Monolith M600 and M650 and the cables look similar. Likely same OEM? But Monoprice finally got into the rebranded HM5 business as well but they have an open version as well

Perfect review as usual, Bosshifi B8, is the totally closed back of these headphones and it sounds amazing.
And even better still with Brainwavz XL Pads... the Micro Suede model, in particular.

Just get the SHPs from Aliexpress. There are no 'enchanted beans' or shitt like that. Aliexpress is reliable, so stop bashing them so that people use Zeos's affiliate links on Amazon.

@@sandrocoelho3031 Yes, I bought the SHP9500, Topping D30, KZ IEMs and everything from Aliexpress. They just take 3-5 weeks for delivery, but have always been genuine. A small item I purchased came broke and Aliexpress has a buyer protection which refunded me the entire amount.

Bought the 005 from the sound demo, wife liked the rosewood of the 007 so I bought those for her and now I don't know which I prefer. But the box says the 005 is only 16 ohm while the 007 is 32 ohm

You should try the 006, which are closed back. I hope to hear your take on those. To my ears, they sound different than anything else I own, and I love them. Lots of detail and bass thump with warm mids. What's unique to me is that the left and right ear cups sound more separate and independent of each other than other cans I've heard, if that makes any sense.

The SV006 needs Brainwavz XL Suede Pads to sound their best. (For a more-spacious, brighter sound, get the XL Perforated Pleather Pads.)

From his videos, you can understand that the best (music`s) are SV004. The most linear and neutral SV007. SV005 sounds less detailed, but more voluminous. SV002/SV003 the close models and less successful. SV006 also close model with an interesting sound (best of closed).

@@ulamss5 trust me when I tell you that these are exactly the same shell and drivers, SIVGA , BLON and BOSSHIFI.

These are bosshifi clones. I own both. I like them and the sv005 are very easy to mod.
I am glad you picked them up after I mentioned them to you previously in another video. Not sure if you read that post though.
For reference I own the Sigva sv002 sv003 sv005 sv006 and sv007. I also own the bosshifi b7 and two of the b8 which sivga doesn't have a rebrand of the b8. I have modified the b7 and one b8. They are very easy to mod and are great sounding headphones. Shopping around you can get any of these headphones around 45 if you shop around.

Neither is better. I've used both extensively and like them both equally. Now that being said I prefer either to the sivga sv007 as I find the mids just a little too shouty for my preferences.
Have you got both closed ones? The round and rectangular ones?

Feels like the Aliexpress issue might be a thing with these as well. At least, I think I might've personally gotten enchanting beads instead; what I ordered was a set of wooden headphones, what I got was some poor plastic cover headphones.
I have the 007 and i think its a very good heapdhone but with uncomfortable pads size (are too small and i don't have big ears).
The headband feels cheap or bad built. I think there is better options for the money.

Do you know which open back headphones also sound much better with closed pads? Revox 3100. They have the same drivers as beyerdynamic dt880 and work exceptionally well with pleather memory foam ebay pads.

SV007 is the better pair. However, the SV005 are a great deal for a small $89. But, the 007 is do everything very well.

I have the Hi 2050 and the and Pro 80 and I now have the 005 and 007 and I believe the Sivgas are definitely better than the Takstars. Haven't had or tried the Pro 82 though
