- Today me and @worldnomac visited Faisal Mosque, an impressive mosque located on the foothills of Margalla Hills in Pakistan's capital city of Islamabad. We met alot of locals there and made some friends, we then moved on and got some delicious nitrogen ice cream which was very unique.

Guys, the Faisal Mosque and a few other big touristic places like the Pakistan monument receive a lot of visitors from far off areas of the country including school tours. These people are quite often not only almost never exposed to foreigners but most of them are even new to a city like Islamabad. So expect to be approached for selfies more often as for them its like a trophy to show off that they not only visited the Faisal Mosque or Islamabad in general, but were also able to catch a few of the alien species (for them) in the shape of foreigners.

So glad to see another Englishman visiting Pakistan and enjoying it.... It made me feel so sad when an English colleague asked 'isn't Pakistan all dust, rubble and dirt?' I'm happy people like yourselves are seeing the true beauty of Pakistan and breaking the stereotype image people hold of pakistan.
To be honest, here in the UK we are lead to believe Pakistan is a dangerous and unfriendly place where they hate western tourists, specifically USA and UK ones. I follow a lot of vloggers and every one of them when in Pakistan have been made so welcome and the hospitality has been outstanding. Just goes to show we shouldn't believe the lies the media feed us. I'd love to visit one day, inshallah.

Islamabad Monal restaurant - awesome food and great views
Skardu - go up by road and come back by PIA flight to experience one of the best flights in the world capturing great mountain views and also Nanga Parbat
The road trip up allows u to see many beautiful destinations but Is tiring as it can take 2 days
Fairy Meadows- the jeep ride itself is amazing
Then about a 3hr trek
Great camping sites with awesome views of Nanga Parbat and trek to advance base camp
Skardu Shangrila resort abs there’s a awesome fort there also and also there’s a rock there with views comparable to a similar one in Norway , Trolltunga
U prob not have the time but the K2 base camp trek from Askoli ( last portal town ) is bewildering with some of the most unique and awesome views of 8000m peaks at Concordia
Passu Cones with Hussaini bridge
Hunza - Karimabad Eagles Nest Nearby Altit and Baltit forts - worth staying at the Serena Hotel there
Khunjerab Pass - Pak/China border
Muzaffarbad With a stay at Pearl Continental
There’s a lot more to explore and you probably agsin won’t get the chance but the City of Bahawalpur also is awesome

Came across Mac's videos about a week ago, have been binge watching ever since. Both of you together are so down to earth, humble, generous, welcoming and warm. Thank you for showing Pakistan in its true light, something the media does not portray. In the last few years Pakistan has been the go to country for many vloggers and its so nice to see how every vloggers is enjoying the country in their own way. Heading out to Pakistan in the summer this year, staying closer to lahore so will visit some of the places to eat etc you have shown. Last time I visited lahore was in 2003 lots of changes have happened this then. Thank you for all your content 🇬🇧🇵🇰

Harry & haggard very impressive wideos from u. I recommend u both . That must go to harypur dam. It's 2 hours drive . There is jetsky. Paragliding. Parceling. Boating.
This mosque is in such detrimental condition. Believe me, it has seen better days. My dad used to work here when I was growing up, I used to come with dad almost every day during my vacation, those were the days. Now, nobody has paid any attention towards the maintenance or expansion of the mosque.
True.....I live in Islamabad but it's been a while since I went there.......quite a while....Like 9-10 years......And the mosque I remember was neat and clean but now seeing Harry's vlog,I realized how terrible condition it's in.....It's making me sad TBH......It used to be so beautiful

You are kind, and really hardworking! A great vlog, you could have gotten selfie stick from needful things f6 or blue area. I hope you got one. Islamabad is expensive, we don't use normal taxi drivers, usually they charge a lot, like 1st did they have set money (120-150) from sector to sector so with every sector passing by they add it up, so far, careem, uber, b4u, indriver or SWVL are better options for cabs.
