Your explanations are always very clear and intuitive, and the excitement you have while playing is contagious. I've ended up buying 20 strong and Mage Knight due to your videos. Keep up the great work! Ah, and at some point, do try one of the Too Many Bones boxes (original, Undertow or Unbreakable)...I'm curious as what your opinion of it will be. Cheers
I look forward to trying the other two. Happy to hear you like those even more. I've really enjoyed Solar Sentinels so far. Simple but nice decisions in a small package. It is definitely going with me on my next trip. Thanks for watching!
I really don't want to nitpick but I believe it's very Important: You gain the blitz rewards immediately after you applied enough dice for the enemy at the end of the strategy phase and BEFORE enemy damge, follow effects, discard dice and recover dice.
Excellent playthrough. Thanks! Always enjoy your content. I have a question though. How come you rerolled your crit at 10:00 to get a hit instead? Do you have to deal exactly 4 damage to the enemy? Cheers! :)
Ah, that is confusing. I think I wanted to apply as many dice as possible, so I thought I had to reroll the crit to put all four dice on the enemy. But I believe you can "overkill" in order to place more hits on an enemy if you want, so that reroll was unnecessary. Thanks so much for checking out the video.
I really appreciate that, Karl. Thanks so much! Hearing these words of encouragement really helps to motivate me to continue to make these videos. Thanks for the support!
I was really looking forward to this delivering, but nearly all my dice are damaged which has killed any motivation I had to play. Glad I can vicariously enjoy it through your playthrough. Thanks for sharing!
CTG will replace them. You can also get new ones from the new manufacturer for their cost of $5 in the current campaign. The new ones are suppose to be brighter and stink free.
At 43:42 you discard THRALL, but you only have 3 hits, i.e. 2 yellow hits and 1 one red critt (= 1 hit, but 2 damage; see top of p7 rulebook). So total damage = 4, but hits is only 3...would you agree?
Yeah, I'm not sure what this artwork is called. I usually can't really tell what I'm looking at -- I guess that is the point. Not my favorite, but definitely creates a vibe. Thanks, Steve!
Why did you roll such low hit dice (yellow) for the first enemy? Why not just go for the win when only two dice count? For the second enemy, again, why did you pick a yellow die instead of a stronger one? And why did you re-roll the crit instead of just taking it? You usually explain your logic, but perhaps this was obvious and I just don’t see it?
also at 11:43 he says he can discard one more card after defeating one but he doesnt explains why he can do that. everyone here praise his "clear and intuitive explanations" but everyone who said that probably didnt watched that video and were just kissing his feet.
For the first enemy, you could only apply two dice to it and it needed four damage to take it out, which means I needed to apply two crits. All the dice have 1 side that is a crit, so in this case all the dice are the same. The yellow dice are just as good as the red dice in this case. I did explain that. For the second enemy, I picked a yellow because I didn't want to lose one of my good dice (I could only recover 3 of the 4 dice). I thought that was clear. Re-rolling the crit was a error on my part. I thought you couldn't over kill an enemy -- so if I kept the crit then I would only be able to assign 3 dice for the kill -- but I was wrong. In fact, you can assign as many dice as you want to an enemy. You do not need to stop when you do enough damage to kill them. I was trying to assign all four dice so I could remove 4 cards. I hope that clears things up.
Good grief. I explain it at 8:07. I can only say the words, I can't make you listen. Also, rudeness is not tolerated on this channel. If you cannot act like a decent human being, then please leave.

I believe you gain the “lightning” effect as soon as you defeat the enemy 😊 love your playthroughs!
Ah, you are absolutely right. Thanks for checking out the playthrough.
@@TotallyTabled my pleasure 😊
Interesting playthrough, great as always. It'll be great to watch you play Too Many Bones as well, also from Chip Theory Games
Great playthrough! Very clear, both your narration and the video quality. Thanks!
I'm so happy you liked the playthrough! Thanks for checking it out.
For someone who’s generally allergic to dice, I surprisingly enjoyed this system. The other two modules are even better.

Great playthrough! really helped answer quite a few questions I had! great work
I'm glad you enjoyed the playthrough and found it helpful. Thanks so much for checking it out!

Yep, you are absolutely right. That can be very important to remember! Thanks for watching.

I'm in the middle of watching now and I'm going to play afterwards. I was going to ask this question, too.
Another excellent play through and teach. I really enjoy and value your work in this space. Thank you.
I really appreciate that, Karl. Thanks so much! Hearing these words of encouragement really helps to motivate me to continue to make these videos. Thanks for the support!
I also had the same issue with reading the dice. I repainted the numbers to a brighter shade of the red blue and green. Made a real difference.
That is a great idea. I might need to do something like that. Other than that, the components are quite nice. Fun little package. Thanks for watching!
Really appreciate this professionally editted video, it taught me the flow of the game. Keep up the good work!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for checking it out.
Always enjoy your playthroughs!
I really appreciate that! Thanks so much for this very nice comment. Have a wonderful day!

Ah, that is terrible to hear. That really sucks. Hopefully you can get that straightened out so you can enjoy the game. Thanks, Morga!

@@JM-mv7sv Yes, they did send replacements, which I appreciated.
Thanks for the stream Shaggy. Helped a lot. Love your channel.
Hey, thanks! I'm glad the video was helpful.
Great playthrough als always! I’m still waiting for my copy to arrive. Looking forward for my first play!
Hope you enjoy the game when it arrives. I've really been having fun so far. Thanks for watching!

First time seeing ctg on this channel👍🏼 20 strong is definitely great for its size.
Yep, I hope to have Too Many Bones on the channel before too long. Thanks for checking out the playthrough!
The art work is quite bruitalistic, mecha definitely~in feel.

25:40 should not have discarded that enemy (if I saw correctly it had a lightning bolt, so you would've setup Mission 2 perfectly
I wish there was a clarification on what to do if mother spore and big sucker are forced to be activated together...
Hope the 2nd printing is better made.
What is wrong with the first?
Why did you reroll that crit at 9:52? No need for that. 5 damage will beat the Berserker too.
Yeah, found that weird.
when will you teach us Burncycle, Mr Shaggy?
This year is the plan, but I can't be more specific. I keep having things come up and force me to delay my plans. Thanks for watching!

Does your gaming table still stink from the dice? 😂😅
Mine weren't that bad, but I've heard horror stories. Thanks for watching!
