I have the same setup and added 3M stair tape to the top of the platform. Much better footing control especially when wet! Also, trash the push pins and add bolts and drill out the other 2 holes for 4 bolts and it's rock solid.
I have the same set up and a little trick I figured out on the platform comfort issue. Place your heel on the platform and put the rest of your foot on the tree, and it will surprise you how much it helps

Took me a couple of hunts to figure that out. Still can be uncomfortable at times but almost a must to do.
Thanks for the video. According to the Hawk website, the strap is actually a woven amsteel daisy chain, not stitched nylon.

I like them but what about packing them in cause they are long
Packing them horizontally on a pack can cause them to grab on brush. Vertically isn't bad but is likely to catch things overhead.
can this be done with the 20 inch stick
Mine are the 30” so the height I get with them is a no. If referring to the platform, should be able too.
