  • I go through the whole process of adding a DUCTED Minisplit system to my bus conversion. I have not seen any other skoolie with this setup and I thought I would try it out. After creating a drop ceiling in the bus I was able to run ducts through the ceiling to have central AC.
    Thanks for watching! Enjoy!

    Very impressive work, Dan. I discovered your channel through a TH-cam Short and now want to watch the whole Skoolie build! Your workmanship is second-to-none. One of the best bus builds I’ve seen to-date. 👌🏼

    Incredible. Do you still have the duct calculations you used? I'm guessing it involved trying to get equal volume to all spaces, having a certain air velocity, and working within the available static pressure of the blower. I'm looking at a design in my house with one of these slim duct air handlers, they are a great option. Thanks for sharing!

    A small section of Braided stainless steel lines before your flares would reduce probability of leak from vibration

      I have thought of that but never did it. Thank you for the feedback. Appreciate that.

    How’s it doing without volume dampers?

    • @DanZalinsky
      @DanZalinsky  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Its doing great. No issues with even air flow. The back vent has a damper on it. So if I need to I will close that slightly.

    Any issues with the transformer being for EU standard 220v with live, neutral and earth whereas the unit requires US split phase live, live, earth? Seville told me it wouldn’t work when I asked. Assume no unexpected issues or case electrification due to bonded neutral?

    • @DanZalinsky
      @DanZalinsky  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No I havent had any issues with the 220v. I followed Victron the victron wiring diagrams to make sure everything was grounded and bonded correctly.

      @@DanZalinsky awesome. Good to know. No real need for split phase for these then, just any 220v feed?

    • @DanZalinsky
      @DanZalinsky  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@R22AP Yeah no split phase needed
