- 5 very different desserts that can be made in a flash on a budget including an awesome white chocolate mousse! Oh and a bonus - they are also mostly just 2 ingredients each so customise away!
Ingredients:
For the white chocolate mousse:
200g White chocolate chips
350ml Double cream
Fruit to top (optional)
For the ice cream:
400g Strawberries, hulled and chopped
4 Bananas, peeled, sliced and frozen
Wafers / Cone to serve
Chocolate sauce to serve
For the peanut butter fudge:
450gPeanut Butter (I went for crunchy)
400g Ready made frosting (or homemade!), warmed
Melted chocolate to drizzle on top
For the Nutella Souffle:
180g Nutella
2 Eggs
Icing sugar to dust (optional)
For Cherry Cake:
1 pack of cake mix (add water only version)
2 x 500g tinned cherries (500g for the cake)
Icing sugar to dust (optional)

I can't believe Phoebe is 16?!?! I've watched your channel since the very beginning and she was young but I don't remember how old exactly. You, your channel, and your family have come such a long way from the very beginning and I have loved watching the transition. That cherry cake reminded me of campfire cobbler we used to make in the boy scouts when I was a kid. You just dump a can of pie filling in a dutch oven, pour a cake mix on top of it, then toss pats of butter around on top of the cake mix, pop the lid on and put it on the camp fire

Next time you come to the US, you should go to Mackinac Island, MI. The fudge that they make on the island is delicious, supposedly from the lack of water and air pollution. Cars and trucks were banned in 1896. It’s horses and bikes only.
My favorite quick cake is 1 box of angel food cake mixed with 1 can of crushed pineapple (with the juice). Just stir lightly and bake till golden. So yummy.
My child just turned 16 too. Time flies. I feel so old.

Happy Birthday Phoebe.. Can not believe Phoebe is 16. She was just a wee little thing when you first started. I began following you in the beginning on my old account I can't get into. I love doing the mousse I do it with chocolate a lot. Or I'll add jello mixes to the cream and use white chocolate. I've done pistachio a lot my favorite flavor and butterscotch.

I make that fudge as part of my Christmas gift goodies bundle I make for family every year. I use peanut butter chips instead of peanut butter but it can be mixed up - Mint chips & chocolate frosting for instance. They're big hits

I have done the same kind of cake, but with an angel food cake mix and a can of crushed pineapple... sooo good
You should have layered in some cubes of cake or biscuit along with some more fruit to make a white chocolate parfait.
Another quick one is to blitz about 400g of frozen berries in a food processor with 70-100g of castor sugar then blend in an egg white until creamy

Happy Birthday Phoebe. 16 is avery exciting age. If you use frozen strawberrys as well you dont need to put it in the freezer it is good to go. I love to use buttermilk wit rasberrys and a drip of honey...mhhhhh.

The cake mix pie filling and soda instead of water and you can use any kind of cake mix even if it calls for eggs

If you do a snack masala fries are great and it's just oven chips with a pot of masala sauce. soak the chips in 3/4 of it then put them in the oven and heat up the last bit to drizzle over them, then sprinkle with herbs.

For the white chocolate moose, I added a very little bit of cream to the chocolate before whipping it, like you did, but my chocolate turned into a hard mush, then into a biscuit type texture after it had cooled fully 😥
Can the peanut butter fudge be made with sunflower butter instead?
oooo sunpat peanut butter, look at the succesul youtuber :P I have just deiscovered mixing peanut butter with cheap icecream (with a splash of honey) makes a lovely combo

On the frozen banana front, from experience, yes, peel before freezing, it's a PITA to peel them when they're rock solid (though, dunking in some hot water to defrost the skin kind of works, but it's so limp that it's a mess to peel still!)... :P

I feel like you should always use crunchy peanut butter for fudge. May be unpopular but I always enjoy peanut butter fuge with extra crunch in it. Now brownies are another story. Despite what my wife says, brownies should never have nuts lol

Without any milk or anything in it we call that if it's just frozen fruit a sorbet
Barry! I make PB cookies that are only 3 ingredients!
1 cup PB
1 cup sugar
1 egg
12 mins @ 350° (sorry for American measurements)
We add vanilla extract, chocolate chips or M&M's as optional ingredients.
They taste good left in rounded mounds to cook or pressed down with a sugared fork. Note you cannot use good quality PB for this recipe. It has to be the "jif or Skippy" type and not natural or fresh ground.
