In a boxing ring, that would be true, but in a street fight, where it's often a life or death situation, there ain't no fancy Marquis of Queensbury Rules. It's kicks and punches, and pretty much anything and everything goes, whatever works use it.
@@kungfujoe2136 hes also probably faster, stronger better cardio and more combat experience also doesn't require much training to "fight dirty" so he has the same tools but in better hands.
Love that video. I train in multiple arts including Wing Chun. I've used Wing Chun concepts in other art forms including Eskrima/Kali. Understanding the principles is the key to all martial arts.
beginner here, I´m just at level chi sao...and I´m unfortunatly not a natural talent. I usually hold back, because I just don´t want to cause any harm (I know, it doesen´t make sense) I don´t want to be a fighter, I really learn it for the worst case and to get a better grip of myself. Every aspect about Wing Chun improved my live in some way. Thank you for this video, it´s fr+++ing wholesome and just what I needed...just ensured me on my choice of martial arts. Greetings to Randy, what a cool dude. Edit ...Sifu Jason...godamm are you fast (new role modle established)
Great video, like so many of your other videos. I am a black belt in a combat based self defense system where we train with hand to hand, stick, knife and gun tactics. A suggestion I would like to share for those viewers that don't get the difference between sport fighting and self defense is to not use the word 'fight' when discussing the act of defending yourself from serious injury , or death. Rather than a fight, understand it is a BATTLE FOR YOUR LIFE, or possibly that of a loved one. Great job Sifu Jason!
Great video by the way! I would like to point out that there are many principles and concepts in wing chun that are indeed applicable to sport fighting because they don't necessarily imply hitting vital body parts, I mean things like economy of movement, attacking while defending, protecting the center line, etc. I believe you can make them work in sport fights and adapt them against different disciplines. Can someone use "pure wing chun" in UFC? I guess it really depends on how strict and monolithic you believe the wing chun system to be, I personally think it's a flexible and adaptive martial art that is based more on developing fighting IQ rather than specific techniques and strikes.
i agree with you in the 80's 90's and 2000's wing chun was practiced really efficiently. after 2010 many wing chun have not understood or are practicing health, fintess and tutorial courses just to make money. Many also confuse mma fighting, with sparring and real fighting situations. Wing chun is not made for mma fighting. more for close combat close distance tight spaces ect.
I just hope y'all are staying safe. Read your books, JKD In- fighting, and JKD's Way of the Blade, which is an absolute triumph in explaining the individual's right to self defense in a free society. Keep books like that coming, Sifu Jason!

Well said, so glad you’re making this point. No matter what WC back ground or lineage you follow this is a very good point that has been forgotten. I fought in a tournament once with WC and I had to modify my WC to fit into the tournament rules of engagement. Tbh we should have spend more time training like it was a sport and also understanding tournament structure. I have to say, It was a experience. I got a win, then took a lost. I caught up in the robotic vogue position 😂!!! So I ate a few! Definitely gotta modify your mind set to modern sport fighting, it keeps you in the rounds and scoring points or you might get possible stoppage. The traditional mind set of palm strikes, elbows, chops to the throat and temples, stomp kicks to the knees etc... equals disqualified! My Sifu at that time was big on those techniques along with others of course, but 90% of my muscles memory techniques couldn’t be used in this tournament. I found that out the hard way...real quick. It was a pressure test moment for me. I passed it, but I definitely had questions afterwards.
I used the straight blast once, when this girl came at me out side the movie theater, she went to grab my hair, I just started blasting right down her center line in the face etc. She fell on the ground. I told her not to get back up. Long story short why she attacked me was a mix up she thought I was the girl messing with her boyfriend, I was not. her friends verified that. The straight blast worked well in that situation.
Once someone attempts an offensive action on your person they become outside of the law rules & the law are different, when your fighting for your life everything counts but rules .
It's my 2nd. I started training a couple weeks after I started Krav Maga. The two I support with some techniques in BJJ and Systema. Learning a little Muay Thai too but that pretty much is the same strikes I learn in Krav.
@@Herowebcomics, Yes, but they are others that are way more practical than Wing Chun. You are better off learning Boxing in 6 months and you'll definitely be able to beat most of those Wing Chun sifus out there.
@@lionsden4563 I don't know about that. I will admit that western boxing teaches more powerful punches, but Wing Chun teaches faster strikes. So it's up to you what you want. Speed or power. I need to work on my speed.

I love your videos because they are straight from the heart.wing chun is my favorite becasue it is so portable, if you are in a dark slippery mud bank at night, BJJ has little to offer.Wing chun is so small...look at the crowded bar scene not enough room for all that BJJ stuff.
Thanks for the vid, always good to see more and more WT contributions. As for the effectiveness of WT... I come from a more extreme 90's era training in American Kenpo, Shootfighting (under Bart Vale) and Filipino styles, with some Tang Soo Do from my adolescent years. After training in various other arts over the years, including BJJ, I have found WT & Filipino styles to be best suited for strategic and tactical urban combat. Furthermore, I've only found one lineage of WT and Escrima that is truly tactically effective and sufficiently aggressive (relative to the practitioner of course). I now train in those styles/lineages with a very talented instructor out of Miami, FL, along with firearms training and gladly train with practitioners of other styles and arts to better my game. Every art has something to offer, but only a few have urban effective mindsets and movement. Fun vid to watch and thanks.
I've had this conversation with people before if you love your life don't put yourself in dangerous situations. This being said a martial artist that doesn't drink or smoke has better things to do with there time. Because someone who doesn't drink or smoke who puts themselves in dangerous situations not only is retarded but has a death wish they cannot consume. It's the same as with dangerous jobs that can cost you your life people who don't drink or smoke don't belong in places that are inherently dangerous because there not looking out for others its something different thats eating at them. Just a FYI because people who know there going to die understand that it's not about killing and dieing its just part of life, people who don't have a habit that causes them to think this way are dangerous in those environments. People who have habits that are dangerous and play with dangerous things aren't looking to die from them it's there fun.
Jon Jones has long been considered one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time. He had also been derided as one of the most prolific eye-pokers of all time, and people claim that much of his success comes from such "illegal strikes," which are illegal specifically because they can end fights instantly and cause permanent, career-ending damage. Jon also loves front and side thrust kicks to the knees, which are legal but still derided for similar reasons. If someone needs to ask what this has to do with Wing Chun, then they should probably do some research on Wing Chun.
Eyes pokes are against the rules of the match so of course fighters will stop, but in other context the fighters could continue fighting changing the outcome also his kicks come from savate and kickboxing no connection to wingchun.
I clearly did not say that Jon Jones did Wing Chun, and you guys clearly did not read my second paragraph. Folks familiar with Wing Chun already get what I'm talking about, but to be clear: my point was that many of Jon Jones' most notorious techniques are *similar* to key techniques in Wing Chun, techniques that are obviously effective in a fight, but many of which would get you disqualified because they're too dangerous for sporting competition. Wing Chun heavily features finger thrusts to the eyes/throat, as well as push kicks to the knees/thighs, and many other techniques that are even less "sportsmanlike." Overall, it's just a reminder that while combat sports breeds the highest level of fighting athlete possible, even those guys can get seriously fucked by a finger or two in the vision holes, and it's something to keep in mind when we think of martial arts as a whole.
@@Tenchigumi Techniques don't exist in a vacuum wing chun as a system has yet to show to its ability us it or any technique's in almost any context, this is why pointing to non wing chun fighters is irrelevant. Wing chun needs alot more work before is get the respect the artists are seeking.
Thanks for sharing your great analogies as we know Wing Chun has many deep issues to overcome. Taking in to account that Wing Chun Chuan was developed for a woman by a woman is often overlooked by mainstream male martial artist. Difficulties arise when trying to make male Wing Chun players become similar to using female attributes. Where instead of keeping the natural male strength attributes they are openly substituted with female Wing Chun ones such as yielding that when in a fight becoming ineffective as is oftern displayed as becoming overwhelmed and dominated by the strength aspects of the none Wing Chun opponent. Where Wing Chun players developing more strength and athleticism at least matching or better than that of the opponent is going to level the playing field for a change. No one in their right mind wants less power, as we also know that strength alone is not enough but to develop skills that are seriously sensitive or weak could be better off spent on developing stronger Wing Chun aspects instead. Wing Chun vs Wing Chun sparring will be only become good at it like brother play fighting with brother. Wing Chun vs Kung Fu sparring will be only become good at it like Chinese countrymen fighting with countrymen. Wing Chun vs MMA sparring will lose most of the time because is not equipped or designed to fight outside of China. More sparring is not the answer for Wing Chun to be successful, modified Wing Chun will give it at least a fighting chance, that has adapted to the world of martial arts. All martial arts have needed to adapt to the changing world, Wing Chun is no exception, adapt or become a relic, the choice is up to each individual to decide. I don't have all the answers but am trying at least to find some solutions. As for sparring in Wing Chun their is far too much chi sao instead of pressure testing what has been learnt with none compliant sparring partners. Wing Chun having far to many people explaining it than proving it. Or in other words far too much talk not enough action with Wing Chun enthusiasts. Their are many similarities with Wing Chun and stand up Silat but in Silat they don't compromise their strength for sensitivity training. Just try using sensitivity on an opponent that doesn't care to involve themselves in it and they will throw a Wing Chun player around similar to a rag doll. Wind Chun has devastating elbow strikes just like Muay Thai the difference being in Wing Chun they have taken out much of the momentum in training. With Muay Thai all techniques use a step in closer to the opponent creating the most power possible also including dynamic extras such as jumping and following through, whereas with Wing Chun in is done with turning and torque.
Wing Chun also belonging to a boat culture should involve small hand held knives whereby they are missing in this system. Silat howver displayed here for me personally fills this gap of not only using knives but dosent compromise strength for sensitivity either. th-cam.com/video/H7IOl8cSV-s/w-d-xo.html
this is good video, and thats true, its self defend arts, u can use it in competition though but must adep first with the competition rule, thats mean it will look like boxing with kick
10:43 my first wing chun experience was at age 10 with a Vietnamese friend of mine.. he taught me to go through or over the hands on my way to the throat and chest. Bui sao in the throat and blasting cheung choy on the chest. He can’t block both? There’s the essence I learned young
3:00 I hate when people like Sensei Seth say eye pokes aren't effective "because the word poke reminds him of tickling" meanwhile MMA fighters have been blinded permanently before
Bruce’s favour technique was the eye jab. It will drop any man of any size. And like you said I’ve seen MMA fights on TH-cam where people get blinded or hurt and the fight ends immediately. I have no idea why people think it doesn’t work or where that even came from. Smh. Again, like in the video. Sport just isn’t the same as the real thing.
@@axelstone3131 Exactly. It can be difficult to pull off, especially at range, but if you're trying to Triangle someone who is resisting (and its a real fight and serious) you can easily pepper a few eyepokes to distract them and finish your submission. Understanding how to use some of these illegal techniques, can actually save lives
I have said the same for years, that a martial art used to save your life in a feudal or warring country, cannot be reduced, made safe and put in a sports environment.
@RAWSNL different arts that don’t emphasise attacking vulnerable targets or crippling someone. Different tools. Different purpose. Different situation.
Tao of jkd has wrestling, judo/jiu-jitsu, kickboxing with elbows, knees, headbutts, wing chun, it is near identical to modern mma. Every jkd person should practice mma. I studied win chun with the sifu darby he make it very clear what u learn in wing chun it is made to use in a contact sport it is designed disabled your opponent as fast as possible and using these techniques will get u disqualified
This is correct. You have to if given no other choice you have got to go in and put down quickly . It is not fighting dirty when there are no rules . You never know who you are going against . Plus if you use a sport mind he will not and he could be more dangerous to someone else if you dont stop em. At this time point attack means attack.

I would say that anyone with a decent amount of experience in real world violent situations and altercations, would pass on the wisdom of "avoid getting into fights as much as possible.".
Perhaps a match framework that emphasised this might help. Like wc matches are only 1 min long and are in full kudo karate padding. In the case of a draw neither fighter gets a belt progression or gets paid etc. But as it is, wc has no real competitions so it's all wishy washy. Don't get me wrong, I think 80% of the theory is good, and the movies look awesome, but still.
America has put lots of things in sports perspective even martial arts and i believe this is why tons of Americans get the wrong idea of martial arts, the bottom line in my opinion is, it's a art and with this art if you have to hopefully you will ever have to but you can defend yourself with confidence and if need be you can fatally do damage to the other party if it arouse to that specific occassion, America has taken out the old ancestory out of this martial art and turned it into a sports event like college football.
So in short, what he says: Wing Chun cant be used for fighting, but its good to attack with, before you opponent does. So you face someone who is agressive and will maybe attack you, you just hit first. I mean you cant argue with this. Its true. But this doesnt makes Wing Chun worth to learn. I learned it, it was just wasting the time. Now I do Boxing and its way better. You can use Boxing in that way this guy uses his Wing Chun. If someone comes to you and he is agressive, you can just one hit him with Boxing knowledge. Thats it. Boxing can do that too. But with Boxing, you have a chance in an actual fight too. So there is no point to learn Wing Chun. It has many-many mistakes and wrong mentality and wrong hipotesis about fighting.
Was thinking the same thing ....I also wasted my time learning Wing Chun untill I entered a real boxing gym and fought some guys who only trained in boxing for about a year ....and I've never been back to th Wing Chun school ...total waste of time ....boxing coach told me your going to fight like you practice ....that is a true statement....
Thus you can't spell nor understand a discussion. You can tell a man by what he blames his failures on. You are soaked in sporting thug life mentality and are a fake, what you are saying is; you are to dumb for anything difficult. Bruce Lee says "Be water" and you think "I can't I flesh"

there's a 90 percent chance that you chop a guys throat and push him ass backwards down a flight of steps, you can just go about your day cause he's done lol. Since my last comment was already getting long, I wanted to save this for another post. I think that, aside from people misunderstanding Wing Chun, there is something else that causes the art to get bashed a lot: all the internal fighting over who is teaching "real" Wing Chun. I'm talking about what I call "the lineage wars" or "lineage politics." I'm pleased that I can give you the following compliment: I have never once watched a video where you play the lineage card. Yes, you are honest about who your teacher was, but you never say, "I learned the TRUE Wing Chun from..." So major props to you on that one. What people don't realize is that others pick up on the bickering, and it just further solidifies the belief that Wing Chun is a joke. I made a video related to this. If you have time, could you watch it and leave a comment? th-cam.com/video/oEqWZZWXMMs/w-d-xo.html
Because it is very, if not the most complex of all martial arts, and it will take years of intense tedious training to realize that lol. Then another decade to master those techniques after developing them lol
Sifu Jason, I agree that Wing Chun's primary purpose is to be the "guerilla warfare" of martial arts. However, I have always asked this question: at one point, weren't all martial arts meant to be for self-defense, and not competition? When Tae Kwon Do was invented, I don't think they had tournaments in mind, yet somehow they modified it so it COULD be used in such a way. Therefore, I think there are still ways you could adjust Wing Chun to fit the same purpose. Is it necessary? No. I mean, what need is there to step in the ring and prove yourself? Getting hit sucks; why would you do it ON PURPOSE, unless of course you are trying to satisfy your ego? (If that is the case, then you need therapy, not a UFC match, to shore up your poor self-esteem!)
All this "Wing Chun works only in the street and MMA works only in the ring" is pure bullcrap. Fighting against a well-trained fighter in the ring who wants to knock the shit out of you is as realistic as it gets inside a gym. Do you really think that a pair of gloves makes all the difference? Or a couple of rules? No. If you can fight without gnawing on ears or kicking groins, you can fight. Punching a wooden dummy helps you shit. And Chi Sao? Idk, maybe it helps, maybe not. On the other hand: if it were helpfull, MMA fighters would use it now. Because, unlike Wing Chun, MMA evolves.
Horses 4 courses. An AR15, a bazooka or a 12 gauge isn't much good if you're fighting in a cupboard or a phonebooth. That's when you want a glock or a sawn-off. Ng Moi had one arm but two shoulders. Focus on your strengths and the opponents weaknesses.

@@Thongsai yes, boxing is very effective due to its use of sparring and competition, but how many how many MMA fights have you seen ended by kicks which boxing doesn't allow. UFC welterweight champion is a grappler, 12 fights without loss who just defeated a boxer. Even within boxing you'll find people who can't be hit and people you can chin and nothing happens. At the end of the day you have to use what you feel comfortable with but don't denigrate other styles that train techniques you're unfamiliar with.
Please stop comparing wing chun with boxing and say that is a sport but we train for real fights. Wing Chun is a great art but only for those who can fight and that mean you must crosstrain with boxers and with other disciplines. If you can’t punch a boxer in sparring you won’t be able to use a lop sau in a street situation because your body won’t be ready to fight and your mindset won’t be a warrior mindset.
Lets say somebody tells you they "raced the cops" on the streets and got away because of their superior "racing techniques". This person then tells you they have been studying the techniques via a direct lineage student of the late great F1 "master" Fangio for 30 years. Now you put this guy in a "sports race" and he is all over the track, has zero idea of a racing line and gets lapped 30 times. He then says "ahh if this was a no rules street race id win because id cut corners with my advanced fangio "racing techniques" and clearly the "sports racers" would not be able to use their "sports techiques" combined with my shortcuts to beat me. Which is the most important validation of his technique being effective. 1) evading the police (the police might of given up chasing somebody driving so poorly in fear of an accident. 2) His study of direct lineage "fangio" F1 techniques. 3) His performance against other racers in a "sports race". Hmmmmm.
Well in order for the cops to give up you had to have evaded them good enough for them to have gotten to that point and for everything else you stated I two words for you, False Equivalence and here are the following reasons why: different scenario, different environment, different goals which all equate to different methods/tactics
@@shadowspear899 I will stick with the advice and knowledge of somebody who has had plenty of real actual documented street fights (real ones end in court dates, assault charges and jail time). As Bas Ruten says, if you cannot handle the low pressure of the ring there is no way you are going to win in high pressure fights on the street. Good techniques work universally and are adaptable. If you can't beat Usain Bolt in a "sports race" you are not going to all of a sudden beat him in a foot race across the street. If a guy can punch you in the face at will while you can even touch his entire head in the ring you can't all of a sudden poke him in the eye a much smaller target without needing to eat through a straw first on the street. The only people pushing that laughable bullshit are people with 0-0-0 records. I know why that is but do you? Name me 5 WC master you feel have "the realz". Now how many fights do they have on video with fully resisting opponents from all backgrounds. Lets now compare that with something like gracies BJJ. Their masters have literally countless hours on film with fully resisting opponents of all sizes including Vale Tudo no rules fights. Why is that you think? Again I know why but do you 🤔
All this crap about practicality...and what are you actually fighting for/over? In self defence situation, anything will be. Considered viable. But thinking of fighting some mma fighter, for what? Ppl are forgetting about real life and immediately romanticize when they talk about martial arts, it's so dumb
wing Chun is nice but without real practice even at 50-60% ... then you are out of reality and in a state of battle ... you will lose. Because many of this doing just art practice , not fight. In fight you can see what is working or not.
siiiiir, cmoon "groping eyes is illegal" yeah yeah, but if you can really get inside like that you can also punch the guy's chin anywaaay, it doesnt have anything to do with the sport rules, if you really can get inside like that even in a mild spar, then i will believe you are talking legitimate
Yea but going in for a jab is different than going in for a maiming shot. After the jab your back to defending and now your too close in the pocket whereas if you gouge an eye theyre not throwing a punch back at you they're now focused on there bleeding eyeball
It all comes down to the individual, how much they train, how often, what the intent of training is, why they are learning, what the purpose is. It’s just not black and white like you said. Most people do martial arts for a hobby. Most people who do boxing and want to compete are training significantly more and have a lot more experience. But the people who are serious about martial arts self defence and train for a purpose that isn’t sport are usually a lot more better equipped for a real life situations that any sport trained athlete. The problem is what you see on TH-cam and all these kind of platforms are people who do martial arts for a hobby that end up getting their as kicked. They are just doing it for something to do. They aren’t really doing it on the same level as a sport athlete might be and that’s the difference.
in the past martial arts was a secret only the indidvidual knew he had, now a days if you don't keep your mouth shut the hold neighborhood will know you know martial arts and they won't fight you fair, just my two cents.
Most people like you mention forget the difference between real fights and sports fighting. Bruce Lee pointed out that you need to take what is useful and forget the rest. Every style has its benefit and each school has its own way of teaching and interpreting what the teacher sees and understands. I have studied Wing Chun for 4 years and know why certain things are applied and the theory behind the moves, the application and understanding of the techniques boils down to the practitioner and their level of training and maturity. Its important to understand the difference between sports and real fights. Your analogy of a shotgun is good, sports fights no matter how brutal they are, still have rules, real fights do not. In a real fight you are fighting for your life not your ego or for praise. Wing Chun was never meant to be pretty, it is a practical and proven method of self-defence and not sport.
You're breaking a major rule with most of the things you show here. Humans cannot react to stimuli faster than 1/3 of a second. A punch or even movement comes in much faster than that. If you throat chop someone in response to them coming towards you: 1. You didn't react to them, you just did it. Humans cannot react fast enough to hit someone in this scenario. 2. If they are punching you too, you are going to trade with the opponent. One of you might get hit, it's a toss up what happens. This is the most common thing you see in untrained fighters, two people unable to keep their space trading with each other randomly until they grab each other. 3. Throat chops are way less effective then punching a person in the face. Why are you even bothering doing something less effective? 4. Eye gouging is a joke comparatively to hitting someone in the face and knocking them out. If you want proof watch Jon Jones basically shove his fingers in peoples eyes for an entire fight. It doesn't stop the fight. It pisses off the other guy and they keeps fighting. Later though, their eyes swell and the damage shows. Sidenote: If you want to push people, why aren't you learning wrestling? Last I've looked Wing Chun is a striking MA that pretends extended hand trapping exists. Just learn wrestling and you can do pretty much everything this person is suggesting you do in a street fight except you've also practiced the physics required to do it.
Wing chun hand trapping worked well for me transitioning to judo. Because my grip fights were a bit out of the box at them and I got it more quickly because my muscle memory already knew it from sticky hands practice

Good to see u changed your mind on wing chun
Last time I was this early, people understood Wing Chun.
Understood its shit against people who actually know how to fight more like it.
@@myjizzureye you did not watch this video i guess?

Awesome!!! Beautifully done!!! Saw something similar but this opens a whole new door!!! Thanks 🙏!!!!
You can only eye gouge or throat punch if your opponent poses threat of great bodily harm or death. There are rules in a street fight, called LAWS
Once someone attempts an offensive action on your person they become outside of the law rules & the law are different, when your fighting for your life everything counts but rules .

"What's the difference between a Martial Artist and a Martiial Athlete?
A Martial Athlete does not smoke and drink..."
Guru Daniel
@Malurek Theres a chance he was an opium addict.
@@theursidaepugilist,
He was an addict.
I know right? Every eye poke and leg kicks is Wing Chun even roundhouse kicks and takedowns....
Wing Chun heavily features finger thrusts to the eyes/throat, as well as push kicks to the knees/thighs, and many other techniques that are even less "sportsmanlike."
Overall, it's just a reminder that while combat sports breeds the highest level of fighting athlete possible, even those guys can get seriously fucked by a finger or two in the vision holes, and it's something to keep in mind when we think of martial arts as a whole.
@@Tenchigumi Techniques don't exist in a vacuum wing chun as a system has yet to show to its ability us it or any technique's in almost any context, this is why pointing to non wing chun fighters is irrelevant. Wing chun needs alot more work before is get the respect the artists are seeking.
Love your real world approach, with a little humor. ;-).
Randy's back! Thanks again Sifus!

@@axelstone3131 Exactly. It can be difficult to pull off, especially at range, but if you're trying to Triangle someone who is resisting (and its a real fight and serious) you can easily pepper a few eyepokes to distract them and finish your submission.

Yes, you are honest about who your teacher was, but you never say, "I learned the TRUE Wing Chun from..." So major props to you on that one.

You sound like you have a very basic understanding of wc. Lol. Just training for a fight, how hopeful.
That’s why sparring is important. Something that Bruce lee did with his students all the time.
My sifu used to beat the fuck outta me. We practice by fighting. There is no hold back...
United States Of Attorney's 🇺🇸 LOL LOL LOL LOL 😆 😂 🤣 I LOVE IT ❤ !
In other words "JKD" or "Interception" right? ;-)
WC is the precursor
siiiiir, cmoon "groping eyes is illegal" yeah yeah, but if you can really get inside like that you can also punch the guy's chin anywaaay, it doesnt have anything to do with the sport rules, if you really can get inside like that even in a mild spar, then i will believe you are talking legitimate
@Baba Ed you can do anything from dominant position, thats why its a dominant position unlike a neutral position like in striking
Yea but going in for a jab is different than going in for a maiming shot. After the jab your back to defending and now your too close in the pocket whereas if you gouge an eye theyre not throwing a punch back at you they're now focused on there bleeding eyeball
@@Jenkies757 you know there is blitzing right ?
@@dogukankuru1969 yes but the type of hit your throwing after a blitz is gonna make a huge difference. Like do u fight? Use common sense
@@Jenkies757 anyone who can blitz and win the exchange can also just put some finger on them eyes
I still think a trained boxer or grappler would do a lot better than a wing chun practitioner
You're muilt attack video got knock down
Because no one ever use that style in a real fight
Vietnamese didn't just hold out, they BEAT u 😬😬
This guy is only partly correct
in the past martial arts was a secret only the indidvidual knew he had, now a days if you don't keep your mouth shut the hold neighborhood will know you know martial arts and they won't fight you fair, just my two cents.
😆, nice attempt though
Because it don't work we all understand that part
Yes.
You're breaking a major rule with most of the things you show here. Humans cannot react to stimuli faster than 1/3 of a second. A punch or even movement comes in much faster than that. If you throat chop someone in response to them coming towards you:
I guess you're a martial arts master
@@originalrbp2869 nice argument
Wing chun hand trapping worked well for me transitioning to judo. Because my grip fights were a bit out of the box at them and I got it more quickly because my muscle memory already knew it from sticky hands practice
Eye gouge kept me from getting mugged once, so DFO, bro.
Yet another one talking himself into something that wont work for more than a few out of 100. sorry to say, but its a bit delusional. Just my 2 cents
Do kung fu masters need to prove again that kung fu works. Ip man already did it
Wing Chun was used by the military years ago
Never underestimate WingChun that doesnt work or you'll pay for it
Many people watches ip man movie and they think there already a master of wing chun
A Grain of Salt the only one delusional is you pal, you obviously haven’t got a clue about martial arts or any respect for a highly experienced martial arts instructor , just my two pennies worth 💥👊🏻
Yet another lengthy musing about what a real fight is and why wing chun is above sport, but really is just a set of old dusty cheapshots (I'll go for his eyes or his throat) -- yeah, sure, the other guy will just stand there for your convenience. Fairytale...
Man, if the guy is the same size of his opponent, the wing Chun guy is in advantage!!...I'm taking real wing Chun fighters...not naive fighters.
Lol 😂, ok...
Proper question is. Why people still train wingchun. Stupid sport
You are all talk. There is no proof in what you say. I would like to see you go against a boxer are mma fighters. I teach people how not to get hit not take hits . The secret to a good striker is I can hit you but can't hit me .wing Chung has lost to boxing , kickboxing, wrestling, judo, and I have never seen a wing Chung guy win in a mma cage fight. The only way I would believe anything he says is if he got in a mma boxing kickboxing fight ,and won . He's like every fake out there all talk no proof.
