My collection is basiclly 12 lines, and only those 12 lines. This keeps me from 1) spending too much and 2) just having boxes of stuff pile up. So I am struggling to figure out what "Scale" many of them are, stuff like Playmates Ben 10, I Am Elemental, etc. But, for the mechs from JoyToy, I collect the 1/25 scale ones. 1/18 is not only $$$ but also takes up too much room! haha The Hexagear work well with the 1/25 scale mechs.
ah. this was very helpful. I've been looking for a video like this. thank-you for producing it. do you have Microman figure from 1999-2003? the Microman with magnets in their feet? they are 8cm and i wonder if they are the same as 1/24 scale
I don't have Microman but generally the 1/24 scale kit/figures are about 7.5-8cm, Joytoy even produced some 1/25 scale mech and figures. You can look up some of my older videos on Joytoy mech.
That's a good line, I feel like eventually I will look into it along with the Obsolete series. But as of now my focus is 1/18 & 1/24, even with 1/25 Joytoy too!
Wow, and here i though 1/18th was small. I personally think 1/12th is the best, but, 1/18th is cheaper and has vehicles, mechsuits, and displays. So, it's really comes down to whats more important to you. Better articulation and accessories or vehicles. I personally am thinking about jumping into 1/18th at this point, because of all the extra goodies you can buy for them. Also they're cheaper and take up less space.
I just started collecting 1/18 this year. Around May/June I think. You can always start with Joytoy for the price point, availability and also the vast selection. But I'd always vouch for Acid Rain World because of the overall package.
@@EMHobbyTV I'm an asthetic guy, I think Joy Toys' offerings are better looking. But you can't deny Acid rain has a lot of cool extras like vehicles and display sets.
You’re high, 1/18 is by far more expensive because you have to factor in Army building and the vehicle’s. What is the extent of 1/12 ? A couple of figures or maybe just one and you’re done. 🤣
This was exactly what I was looking for to help me really visualize 1/24 scale. Thank you!
Yep thanks for watching! Recently got into 1/12 so now I've got to do another video...?
@EM Hobby TV Please do! If anything it helps us newbies in the figure collecting scene!
@@victoriabloodworth6951 will ping u again once the video is out!!
Very simple, 7 inch action figure is 1/10 scale , 6 inch is 1/12, 3.75 to 4 inch is 1/18, 1/24 is 3 inch action figure

Some of them are non scale, you think? And yes, JT 1/18 mech is 💸💸💸
I am looking for rc trucks action figure sizes
Depends on what you're looking for I know Joytoy got some 1/25 scale figures.
Great job Em! 💀
Thanks for your suggestion mate
@@EMHobbyTV no probs fella

hey! you found the video i was talking about. i think i want to order these, but i'll ask you back on your channel.@@EMHobbyTV
What is that fake governor brand? I'm looking for more 1/24 to use in my mechs
Try looking up 1/24 Original Sin. Not sure if you can find it outside of China. I got them on Taobao.
@@EMHobbyTV thank you, I was looking around briefly yesterday with no luck
Just curious but do you have the “Age of Mecha 1/35 figure scale too??”
That's a good line, I feel like eventually I will look into it along with the Obsolete series. But as of now my focus is 1/18 & 1/24, even with 1/25 Joytoy too!
But do look up Awesome Action Toys on YT. My buddy Adam did a review a while back.
I was wondered about this size differences. Some of the 1/24 scale figures could work with 1/18 figures.
Yes definitely, depending on the looks that you're going for as well!
the fake early governor is slightly taller than the original i see
It's a pain to build though. 😞
Great video! God bless!
Thanks!!

@@romesrepublic Joytoy female head sculpt still needs some work but other than that it's all good 👍
