    I love the wire necklace and bracelet. I used 12 gauge wire and they turned out great! So comfortable to wear. I put the bracelet on and forgot I had it on! I have really enjoyed your ideas. Thank you!

    Liz, another great tutorial! So easy to follow. My only concern is that the pendant looks HUGE, I would make mine half the size of yours, and just play around with it. TY soooo much for this pattern, so kewl.

    • @makingiteasywithliz
      @makingiteasywithliz  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most definitely, Carmen you can make it smaller. I did make it large but it gave an idea of what a large one would look like and I would wear that on a very long chain. The possibilities are endless. Thanks so much for your support.

    Hi Liz ~ Can you tell me the difference of using a rawhide mallet over a rubber mallet? Love love love how you explain everything you do, and especially love your quirkiness ~ can't wait until you post a new jewelry video

    • @makingiteasywithliz
      @makingiteasywithliz  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sheri Kane Hi Sheri, thank you so much for your kind comment. I think a rawhide is better at moving the wire because its harder than rubber but hey, give it a try.

    Love it! I always pick up handy tips from your videos and I really like this pendant. Did you do anything to the piece after the patina, like steel wool or sanding? The color is lovely both ways. I'm getting to really like how Cooper goes with so much.

    • @makingiteasywithliz
      @makingiteasywithliz  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much Judi. I use super fine 0000 steel wool to take off the patina. Just rip a small piece off and roll it into a ball. It doesn't take much effort to get the job done. You can seal it after with microcrystaline wax like Renaissance or a spray lacquer. You can just leave it alone and polish it up with a metal polish cloth when it darkens.

    Stunning yet so simple. Gorgeous 😍 and you happen to live in a beautiful Gorgeous place of the world too. I wonder where your inspiration comes from 😂. Suprised you dont work with labradorite as it is found local in eastern Canada. Hello from foggy old London england

    • @makingiteasywithliz
      @makingiteasywithliz  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you so much for watching. Labradorite is from Newfoundland/Labrador which is far away from me here in Nova Scotia and is very expensive and not readily available. It's very beautiful when AAA quality.

    • @kirtandrews1859
      @kirtandrews1859 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @makingiteasywithliz My apologies I thought labradorite came from your region. Shame its so expensive your end. Here in the UK I can get a massive boulder for under £20 or a nice hunk for wire wrapping with stunning colors for under £10 if I know where to look. I'd give my arm to live where you live. I'm a Taurus so I adore water naturally. But I'm also quite spiritual and super creative. But my disabilities prevent me doing what I want etc. Too much pain not enough energy etc. I blaim some of it on where I live. London can be stunning but also cold and damp! I have a aggressive autoimmune disease called crohns. And I am always been told living in a warmer climate would help. Nova scotia seams to get both hot and cold as does newfoundland. I Need the outdoors space ans trees. If you look on a map you will see what it's like where I live heavily built up. No green space to talk of really unless I go to Hyde Park. When you are bored put NW2 7QL UK in a world map gopgle earth etc. You will see exactly where I live. It's all city City city. I hate city I moved here for my job at the time from the seaside. I lived in Brighton which is beach ⛱️ but still heavily built up I feel crushed in.
