Thankyou for been so generous with your talent the bracelets are just so wonderful you are so very cleaver, thanks again keep on keeping on. Love your work, Jeni Cousins.
@makingiteasywithliz more than welcome. You are incredibly talented and I love your videos. You dint talk too much or waffle on. I learn so much from you x
Liz, I enjoyed watching your video. What lovely and unique bracelets! Am anxious to view your ring video. Your instructions are very easy to understand. Thank you! Kathleen
copper is my most favorite type of metal. Your video for these bangles so encompassed my personal sense of style, very boho, very individual. Love them!!! I watched a lot of jewelry how-to videos and yours are my favorites! You give me all the info i need, and stay on point, which is exactly what i need so i don't get bored or distracted (just a little ocd/adhd!) Liked and subscribed and shared!!!I
Liz, you are my new jewelry Guru! Love, love your videos and you are soooo relaxing as well! Have subscribed and will be watching for more tutorials from you. Heading to your website right now!
Liz these are great!!! Thanks for sharing this. I'm going to make these for sure. Can't wait to see the ring video, although I think the concept is similar to the bracelet.
Like this bracelet a lot. Looks simple enough, IE no math, etc. I don't own a rawhide mallet (yet). Would a rubber mallet be OK to use for this project? If I wanted to add beads, at what point should they be incorporated? With a smaller gauge wire intertwined in the last layer of wrapping, or onto the actual wire of the last wrapping? With jump rings? How would you add beads?
I have made your boho chic ring with the spiral, and rally like it. Now I've seen the ring you wore in this video (bangles), do you have a tutorial on the ring you are wearing or is it like making the bangles, looping over base wires?
Hi Sandra...it is the same set-up as for the Boho chic ring but instead of making a spiral, twist once to hold in place and just wrap the wires across the top of the ring and proceed like the bracelet. This leaves the shank free of wraps. Am I clear as mud? Check out the photo for LOS video. Thanks for watching.
Hey Liz, This video is awesome! Now I'm flipping over to another site to order my copper!!! How simple for something so jazzed! Thanks for the share....Hey, any advise on where to get my copper for a great price? Keep'em coming! Teri
Teri Steinborn Thank you so much Teri. Actually, I sell copper wire in all gauges. My prices are in Canadian dollars which means cheaper in US dollars. Let me know if you are interested and I will get some prices for you.
Very cool and so easy! Thanks! I was thinking that you could get some 22 ga wire and weave some Swarovski crystals throughout the bracelet. That would look really striking!
Oh how cool !! I have some 16 g copper wire and love my bangles !! New project for the weekend YAY Thanks Liz warm Hugs ❤ Oh I was wondering can I use a rubber mallet .. right now thats all I have besides my ping hammer... ;) thanks x
Hippie Hugs with Love Michele Hi Michele...if you can get the wire to move and flatten down, yes the rubber mallet should be fine...just as long as the material it's made out of is softer than the wire. Have fun!
+Ashley Crutchfield Hi Ashley, thank you so much for watching. I purchase my wire from my vendor (I sell wire on my website www.makingiteasywithliz) and will probably be selling the spools also as I am starting to get asked about it. Because I sell wire, I don't share my sources.
+Yuliana Alejandra Pineda Wow, thanks so much! I'm not sure I get what you mean. Do you mean a "cuff" bracelet in this style? Thank you for watching all the way from Colombia!
+Making It Easy with Liz Thanks for your answer, Liz! I'm sorry, I mean, those kind of adjustable bracelets that almost every one can wear because they have a gap, they're not a complete circle.
+Yuliana Alejandra Pineda that would be a cuff. Check out my video for the Atlantic Waves bracelet th-cam.com/video/osIQn6y3mKU/w-d-xo.html which is a cuff style.
Super. Duper. Cute! What was the TOTAL length of 16 gage wire for these bracelets? I'm wondering if it would be "doable" cost in sterling silver. Thanks!
Thanks so much for watching. I would work it out in copper before attempting sterling. I would start with 5 or 6' of wire (you can always add more wire). I really can't say, you'll have to experiment. A cost savings would be to use silver filled wire. The more wire you use, the more times around you can go and depends what you want in the end...take notes. Remember, your wire gets stiffer so adding wire as needed would be easier in the end.
+Making It Easy with Liz Thanks for the info. Starting off with a cheaper metal would be the best way to go for sure. At least to get the hang of it. Thanks you again! Good stuff!
Hi Liz. Love your work and videos. I have a question about liver of sulfur ... can you patina a copper bracelet that has gems or beads in them? Thanks. Mary
Hi Mary Thank you for watching. Yes you can patina with stones. avoid soft stones like turquoise and howlite. I suggest using a weak solution when in doubt.
Thanks for the quick reply! I'm so grateful to all those who make videos and share their knowledge. I love working with wire. Kindest regards, Mary www.wiresandbeads.com
Can you tell me where you get you wire I am having a hard time trying to find wire of that size in the spools . like you have them can you tell me where the best place it is to gets wire
I love this design. Can you suggest some places to find uncoated dead soft wires in large reels like you have? I can't find anything that isn't coated or in small spools. Thank you!
+Mama Hare I will be selling them on my website in the very near future so I don't give out my suppliers, I'm sorry. If you want to order from me, my site is www.craftrends.ca and will be up and running very soon. Thanks so much for watching my channel.
What is the largest size on your oval bracelet mandrel? I am looking for one and felt like a max diameter of 2-3/4 inch seems small for making bangles like you are showing. That would not allow me to get it on and off I don't think. Any information you have would be so appreciated.
Hi Terry, I suggest a 4-step round bracelet mandrel, which is what I prefer to use but couldn't locate mine for the video. The largest size is substantial and you can shape it into an oval after it's complete.
+Making It Easy with Liz Thank you! I just went and looked at the 4 step mandrel. I am curious as you demonstrated using the graduated mandrel rather than the stepped one, as I have seen others do as well. How do you stretch the bracelet by hammering it into the desired size on the step mandrel? I don't mean to be rude in questioning, I am learning and don't want to purchase a tool if it is not really what I am needing. I love the look of this bracelet and really want to make a few of them.
+Terry Brown Watch my video on wire rings...I use a graduated mandrel and the process would be the same. FYI the oval bracelet mandrel would be big enough for any size.
+Making It Easy with Liz Thanks! I realized with a little measuring that indeed the 2-3/4 inch diameter would work. I will watch the wire ring video. I am new to wireworking but learning quickly. I really like your style!
I just love your videos. You explain things so well.
Thankyou for been so generous with your talent the bracelets are just so wonderful you are so very cleaver, thanks again keep on keeping on.

Hi liz, just wondering where you get your wire from?
I love these bracelets so much!
I love your stuff ❤️ Is your wire hard or soft copper wire?
Thank you Lana. Always dead soft wire...the manipulation work hardens your wire. Thank you for watching.

Sometimes I use Renaissance microcrystalline wax. Thanks for watching.
What is this song when the video starts?
It's a freebie that TH-cam offers in their editor...not sure what it's called or the artist.
+Making It Easy with Liz. can you try to make a chain out of copper wire? if so. can u do a lesson?
+ANGEL LYNNETTE check out my video for the Unisex Bracelet. Using finer gauge wire makes a beautiful chain.
U talk to much
Maybe, but most seem to enjoy it.
