      into or onto? impossible to get food into the gums. whichever way, you should rinse right after flossing. I always floss before brushing.

      But interdental brushes are for bigger gaps the floss is better if there is no resesion

    • @kbuzbee
      @kbuzbee 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@SH-vm1rz technically yes, but I was amazed how big my “gaps” actually are. I would have said ‘I don’t have any gaps’ (to the point I was afraid to even try using an interdental) but starting with a Curaprox CPS06 I moved to a CPS08 almost immediately. Fits every gap but 2. I still floss as it hits things differently but adding interdental once a day has been easy and I’m amazed how much stuff it removes that the floss left behind. Biggest thing I noticed… my mouth now feels clean when I wake up! I always had “yuck mouth” first thing in the morning. 😂 Not any more.

    The flossing was not done well...u should go back and forth with the floss untill you get to the gum level then push the floss against one tooth then go back to the contact area between the teeth and floss against the parallel tooth in the same area

      Dr Zain when shall we change the interdental brush, every month , 2 months ? I have no idea.. the video did not say the time to keep using them. Thanks a lot in advance. salam

    • @drzainyusuf8078
      @drzainyusuf8078 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sutil5078 there are disposable ones available in packs of 5 or 6...in india these are available for 125 rupees (1.69 $)... Few brands have a metal wire at the centre to which bristles are attached which breaks with repeated use...while there are others with flexible tips. It is good to disinfect by washing them and storing in mouthwash...best to discard after a week
      Moreover, try to see a dentist to prevent food impaction. You might need a crown/filling(bonding) or orthodontic treatment depending on age and other factors. Flossing is better for gum health and is easier to get in between all teeth.

      @@laurenj432 Also… even though it initially feels like it takes longer, you’ll get to where it goes quicker. For me, after about a month I’d say it takes 1/2 as long as flossing.
      One point, she said 10-15 times per gap… Curaprox is very clear about this. Once in, once out, done. I think you can get too aggressive if you’re not careful.
