Lorcana Ursula's Return: Ruby/Amethyst is still GREAT! -Decklist

- In Disney Lorcana TCG there are always new decks coming into the meta, but one deck has always held it's own. It's ruby amethyst. Disney's TCG has always favored ruby amethyst and it's good to see it's still playable in the ursala's return meta. Here is my deck list for Ruby/Amethyst in Ursala's Return. This decklist joins the Ursula's Return meta decklists!
On the second game towards 32 minutes, you could have inked one of your inkable and shift your lady tremaine on the other one you had played and would have killed his stitch, clearing their board and keeping your medusa alive. And to answer your question at the end of that game, the start of a turn is the Ready Set Draw, you ready your characters and ink, then Set is when you resolve effects like the 3 lore from Flynn so that would have happened before the draw phase, so you were winning for sure

Can we continue to get follow up videos on R/A? This was great to watch, and definitely got my hopes for a R/A revival up. Was definitely getting nervous my favorite deck was getting too pushed out

Make RubyAmethyst Great again! Thanks for the content, i really appreciate. I used to play R/A and loved it. With Set 4 i thought time´s change, but you made me Hope again. Ill try that, but like you said instead of carpet, ill use peters Shadow. I tried before and i feel like GreenSteel players got so arrogant these days so they forgot about that card! BTW you played awesome!
Swap the Peter for which card?
if you could how would you tech your deck even harder for the emerald steel matchup? tried this exact list but when they curve better than they did vs you in the video the matchup feels really bad
I've added Prince Eric to my deck to help. He can get rid of both beast and Diablo.
Other options are the red pegasus, teeth and ambitions, purple peter pan. Adding in the 8 cost sisu to shift into might also help.
I always brawl the robin hood because it stops them from shifting when stops them from challenging your character and singing songs for cheaper. Steel has a harder time winning when you do that since they’ll have wasted resources trying to get out the big robin hood. Yeah diablo is the better target but you play multiples for a reason.
Nice video. I have a similar version, but with less new cards. Mainly with super good added. I had brawl but it felt underwhelming
Brawl is very underwhelming, but sadly is required in the meta.
Also you should try the shift minnie mouse, shifts for 2 has evasive is 4 cost so you can sing be king undisputed or friend on the other side turn 2 it’s also good against diablo because of the evasive plus she’s a 2/3. So she’s atleast taking out 2 characters.
Honestly might not be a bad idea. It's also got enough willpower to survive let the storm rage on which is pretty huge.
@@Twrightgaming Yeah I’ve actually started seeing a few players try the minnie out once I mentioned it. I would give it a try before Pixel born is gone haha
i run peter pans shadow as diablo removal same with brawl and sisu 3 drop+crab cause diablo is just to strong but there is a cheaper 3 drop peter pan with rush and evasise that could work
I'm trying to avoid the peter pans because they're uninkable. I already have problems drawing a lot of uninkable cards and don't really want to add more. Honestly, I might have, too, though, because Diablo is so ridiculous.
This looks like a fun list. I’ll definitely try it out. Maybe the Ruby Pegasus in place of the carpet??? Anyways this was a cool vid!
I was thinking the same thing but both have a 1 willpower. Peg cost 3 and Carpet cost 2 unless Minnie Surfer becomes a problem again. Carpet will come down faster and take out Diablo

Well Carpet is mostly used to move itself to castle the turn you play it.
What are your thoughts on cutting goat by the way?
I think goats are overrated. The impact on the game state by playing an actual good 4 drop like queens castle or Prince Eric is way better than getting 4 lore from bouncing a goat.

I think bouncing your character this format is a bit slow, you wanna establish a board before your opponent can with R/A nowadays. Fox is okay since it’s most likely removing a character when played.
@@beardedcat9744 I understand that but bouncing goat/rabbit to gain lore/draw to big to cut him out
@@lorcanamans Why do that when you can play flynn and gain 3 lore on turn 3, Instead of waiting turn 4 and 5 to just gain 2 lore.
@@lorcanamans Yeah Flynn is likely going to die alot sooner but by then you’re most likely getting atleast 3 lore from him 4 if you quest which is alot better than goat atm. You need to gain lore faster than your opponent this format if you wanna win. Especially since they don’t wanna give the deck good cards for pretty much 2 sets now. Medusa is good but not as meta defining as Robin Hood/Ursula/Lucky Dime/Diablo. Also Amethyst hasn’t gotten ANY good cards past 2 sets besides Queen’s Castle.
@@beardedcat9744 i play red purple like a control deck still and flyn doesn't always gain lore like red yellow if they play mother gothal on 2 you're not getting the lore bounce rabbit to draw is so good and the best draw in the hole game no talk about it mabey and just mabey hiram could some what compare but with sisu he does not flyn is great for that early lore than goat and super goofy finish it out
