Last Monday I found a six week old female baby kitten in the backyard. I was just minding my own business. I had starlight a French bulldog out at the time I hear a little meow and I thought what the hell is that a kitten and I thought Oh God we got to get an kitten emergency and got starlight inside she was covered in fleas. I don’t think she could not survive, another week on her own, but we got her home this Monday. My mom was heartbroken. We gave her a second chance at life’s we named her Misty or Missy. And she’s all happy in her new home

Posting rescue stories is the best way to spread the word about your work - people need to see the good that you're doing. And shorts aren't enough.
So many irresponsible people in this world. I just don't understand how they can leave a animal to fend for itself or not spay and neuter. Shameful. The word human shouldn't be in so many peoples titles because there far from it. Flatbush is a miracle and even from Vancouver I'm proud to be a monthly supporter

Metaphor reminds me of the old man on the corner who gets admitted to inpatient because everyone thinks he's a crazy old dirty bum, but he's really really rich in heart, experience, and wisdom. Bless all the seniors ❤

If you don't have the money to donate, allowing the advertisements to run (before and/or after) helps. They get a teensy bit of money for each ad. Also, always let the entire video play. When people click off a video, the TH-cam algorithm interprets that as people NOT liking the video and it is recommended less often. Watching the full video, giving it a thumbs up, and commenting, helps the video be recommended to other people. This in turn gives them more ad revenue and (hopefully!) more monthly donors!
I absolutely LOVE these longer YT videos and the voiceover! The stories focus on hope and solutions and I fall in love with all the scruffy and lucky cats that are fortunate enough to get help. Even with the very tough subjects you always manage to respectfully discuss the root causes, difficult tasks and cases you face all the time. Keep them coming and I hope more people will learn from them about the problems & suggested solutions from your point of view.
More of this format please.
It's very important for all people to understand that we humans bred cats to be our companions. They can't make it without us. We have a species obligation to care for them.

My personal ranking is full story videos first, then this kind of summary, then the clips. But TH-cam is massively pushing Shorts in the algorithm to try and compete with (and if it's banned, replace) TikTok, so I understand why they might be given priority right now

Your long form videos are what got me into the channel. They're go to videos when I'm getting ready for bed, and they motivated me to donate to Flatbush. I am always so happy to see them.
Also think the shorts are too short especially after rescue. Liked this longer one but would like more time with each story when enjoying their new good life. If it helps shorter intros would be ok.

I’ve really been missing your longer videos so was so happy to see this on my front page! But I understand your priority is cat rescue not content creation.
The hard stuff is important to watch, but it's nice to know up front it'll be an easy video now n then.
