- In between, another old piece of mine whose sound I recently improved. It's one of the early pieces after my long break from composing and I'm leaving it as it is without changing or improving the score itself.
This piece was inspired by my dog Haily. Haily was sleeping in her basket and dreaming loudly. In her dream she made a swelling "rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrwoof". From this I made this piece 😁 - actually only intended as an orchestral sketch - which also reflects what was happening in my dreams at the time.

Da kommt Stravinsky wieder durch. Kraftvoll und elegisch. Sehr schön der sanfte Zwischenteil nach dem lauten Anfang und wie sich die Power dann schnell wieder ihren Anteil zurückholt, bis dann alles zur Ruhe kommt. Grossartig!

Als ich das Stück schrieb, war Haily erst kurze Zeit bei mir. Die Paukenschläge haben ihr da Angst gemacht. Aber das legte sich schnell. Mittlerweile ist sie schon vor mir im Arbeitszimmer, wenn es ans Komponieren geht. Selbst bei einem fff-Tutti schläft sie tief und fest und erträumt neue Inspirationen 😂
