- I published the poem "Kinderliebe" ["Children's love"] by my dear friend Christine Jendrike with my music for the first time in 2021. It was always particularly close to my heart. That's why I've now improved the sound, added a plucked double bass (only audible with headphones), a reading voice and an English translation for my non-German listeners (unfortunately not in rhyme, but only for understanding). Thank you, dear Christine.
Das Gedicht "Kinderliebe" meiner lieben Freundin Christine Jendrike mit meiner Musik habe ich 2021 das erste Mal veröffentlicht. Es lag mir immer besonders am Herzen. Daher habe ich nun den Klang verbessert, einen gezupften Kontrabass hinzukomponiert (nur mit Kopfhörern hörbar), eine vorlesende Stimme und eine englische Übersetzung für meine nichtdeutschen Hörer (leider nicht in Reimform, sondern nur zum Verständnis) hinzugefügt. Amazing Ms. Jendrike and Mr. Kraus!! Very whimsical and as with most things in life, leading to something poignant. This would have meant so much to my late friend Jenny Raabe who grew up in the Grunewald area of Berlin in the 1950's-60's. She had something similar happen and she always thought that it forever changed her destiny. Thanks for sharing this heart rending composition.
