The engines with those issues are not in these vehicles. The 2.5 smart stream engines are a newer design and seem to be more durable than the outgoing 2.4 & 2.0t. That’s not to say they don’t have their issues🤣 but at least they don’t have catastrophic failure
@@damienamado the theta 2 was fine when it was new too. Then a few years went by and it and it became universally recognized as one of the worst engines ever made. This new engine is already starting to show major problems. By next year you will see…they will all start failing with around 60k on the odometer
You can NOT compare a comfort and luxury trim to an off-roading trim. Off-roading trims across all brands (Honda, Toyota , Subaru) drive rougher and louder than the comfort and luxury trim. Compare the Calligraphy to the SX Prestige. That’s the correct matchup.
Also the X-pro is AWD. For the Calligraphy you have to pay extra for AWD, which will put it at least 10% over the price of the X-pro. I would very much like to see a comparison between the hybrids. The hybrids are much closer in drive and handling.
Blame Motor Trend if it’s too tame for you. The female host use to work for Jalopnik and had quite the potty mouth! She must be dying inside from such vanilla management.
Which mid-size SUV is a better fit for you?!
Which one will put a connecting rod through the crankcase first?
The Kia lmao
