Regardless of how good it is for the price, Wireless is a misrepresentation. I understand how this is advertised but Wireless is not correct if you need to connect a wire to get the full experience.

On issues I’m running into is I’ve hooked my Poseidon up to my TV’s HDMI eARC port, with my PS5 plugged into the HDMI 2 port, yet the led on the bar says ARC not EARC. I thought maybe the HDMI cable that came with the base wasn’t 2.1 but the documentation indicates it is. Any other settings I can check for?
Great review Roberto. Will it connect to projector which do not have eARC HDMI port and give atmos experience ? I think i will miss Dolby atmos without that and also optical wont be useful for atmos and the only choice we are left is with Bluetooth connection with apple/android/firestick tv. Thanks for reviewing this, i was keeping an eye on this one since a while/
I've got a beamer, FireTV Stick, this soundbar and connect all three to a FeinTech VAX04101A. FeinTech VAX04101A supports extracting audio including eArc, so when I go to settings of FireTV stick it reports that I indeed have dolby atmos.
Not completely wireless, if you have to run wires from the back of the room to the front where the subwoofer is located, may as well stick with my fully wired 5.1 surround system
It's best to take another look at where they suggest placing the subwoofer. According to their instructions, it should be next to the sofa, i.e. next to or behind you.
Have you ever seen 'DOLBY ATMOS' on the screen of the soundbar being shown? I have it hooked up on my eARC and never seen this when watching a Dolby Atmos movie. I've only seen 'DOLBY SURROUND ' being displayed.
I use ULTIMEA Dolby Atmos, Nova S50 and I see it all the time when watching streaming such as Netflix, HBOMax and Showtime. You'll never see it when watching regular TV.
@@ShobhiwantMane Yes and no, in order to use the logo, Dolby must have certified it. It is a virtual Dolby atmos soundbar. Of course it would be better if Dolby would differentiate virtual and real Atmos.
5.1 can never be Dolby Atmos, Only Dolby Digital Plus. And thats being optimistic, its probably a Dolby Digital kit. In order to have a Dolby Atmos system, you have to have a minimum of 2 height speakers. It doesnt matter if they are upward firing or in-ceiling; but that means that the system has to be a MINIMUM of 5.1.2. This is a scam.
@@SamirAbuLina This “Virtual Dolby Atmos” I can only find on one place one the web. This technique should mimic it artificially, however it can’t; I’ll explain why. The whole point of Dolby Atmos was to add a third dimension to your sounds and switching from a channel based to a object based cinema sound experience. Now, in order to do this, the main speaker(otherwise a AVR) must have both a Dolby Atmos encoder built into it, but more importantly; there has to be upward firing or in-ceiling speakers. Upward firing is already a mimic, but still makes some sound be heard from the top by bouncing the sound of the ceiling. However, of course you can still hear a lot of sound from it directly even though it’s pointing up. This system does not have that and instead sends sound on a horizontal plane which cannot ever be heard from above in any way, which was the whole point of Atmos. Therefore this is not a Dolby Atmos system, but rather a DD/DD+ 5.1 system.
I have an android Hisense 4K 55 Inch TV but it doesn't support Dolby Atmos only supports Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus, so is there any other opinion ?
@@TheWarlordNinja Option? Providing you use the eARC/ARC output, then the answer is… yes and no. If you plan on only using the TV’s built in OS then no. If it cannot output Dolby Atmos, then it simply can’t. However, if you want you can use a AVR connected to a PC, then the answer is yes; because the TV will get the video signal, while the audio is separated by the AVR and goes directly to your speakers, not through the TV. If you go with this route; make sure your AVR is Dolby Atmos compatible. Reply to my comment if you want more help or info.

It's not DOLBY ATMOS it has no upwards firing speakers. Not to say it can't use the signal in some cases your just going to get a sort of faked atmos sound. It's not junk by any means but its also not quite what it advertises itself to be.

Turn the surround up I would think
Does it play sound from back/surround speakers via bt from a smartphone for example ?? Or does it only play sound from front speaker and sub ??
can you connect these to another sound bar i have rn jbl 3.1 subwoofer and sound bar so can i connect them also extra at my tv ??
