You said "tug on it." Thanks Neil! Finally bought one of these Off Grid throttles for my beater/beach rig. With your help I was able to get mine rubbed out in less than 20 minutes.
Just what I needed, especially the slacking off of the cable on the throttle body, as mine (off grid throttle) was set up too tight with no slack and tightens up on any throttle/cable movement and also is self-rev increasing after initial tick over. I can now slacken off the throttle cable with confidence that I know what I am doing! Many thanks.
Glad to see someone else put a loop or 2 in the wire to prevent vibration breaks. 👍😎👍 I still need to find a N.C. switch for my Off-Grid, to hook it up to my 303-DS/DI, In your searches, did you happen to find any?
As always a very helpful video! Thanks Is it possible to make a video about changing the frame net on fly products? A friend of mine had a paramotor accident and cut his net.
Great video. A little bit of grease and grim never hurt anyone. Especially on a sandwich. I wish I would have picked up an off grid throttle, Ill get one, one day.
If anyone notices the old spade connector won't come off, it's probably soldered on. Mine was on my Atom 80. It was also bigger than the one sent with the new throttle.
Quick question. When pulling the cable tight and tightening the cable stop does the throttle lever need to be pressed in at all or do you leave the throttle lever unengaged when installing the cable? Thanks!
0:34 Instead of the spade connector, I wish that packet had a wire coupler. My original spade connector came soldered to the tab on the electronic Ignition coil selettra. I tried to carefully remove the spade connector anyway but the tab from the electronic coil broke off. I ended up having to purchase another electronic Ignition coil selettra ($60).
Hello would this throttle work with the Bing carburetors. And if so would the cruise control be able to work as the bing got a very strong spring. Thank you Jon.

Just installed mine w/ electric start. Worked perfect. I did the 4 wire.
Such great content and so well done! Please, please keep these install and maintenance videos coming.

Super helpful, Neil! What size heat shrink tubing did you use? 1.5"?
Love the off grid throttle on my Nitro - wouldn't want to be without it on xc flights
Hope the next version is a little bit more robust
Great videos
You said “rubbed out”. 😂 I appreciate the video. This helped me out a lot.

You can add an automotive relay to get around this. My cosmos US page has the drawings for that.
@@harleytrip Thanks Criss, it looks good! I printed it out.
Awesome stuff, thanks Neil!
Thanks Andre! Been meaning to get in touch with you. Shoot me an email at repair@aviatorPPG.com when you get a chance

Yea Neil! Nice video! Thanks for putting my new throttle on.

Great vid!
where found a brass cylinder to put into a carburator screw? thanks
will this work for parajet?
I was going to drop a like, but you aren’t wearing black rubber gloves so nah.
Jk, great how-to! Please release more of these!
The brass barrell makes me a little nervous since thats the only thing keeping your throttle cable from jumping out
14:02 How much cable do you want sticking out?

We had a client test this and they report it works!
@@aviator Thank you very much. Jon from uk
I'm gonna install it in my car....
I put one on my boat, one on my scooter, and one on my dirtbike.
You lost me at TWO 10mm wrenches! I haven't seen my 10mm wrenches OR 10mm sockets since 1986. No cruise control for me :(
We understand 100%! haha
I dream of one day having the privilege to own a Sirocco 3. I just want to fly like Neal!
