Doesn't Eitri say it will take a "few minutes, maybe more" to heat the metal? He should know, he's been doing it for ages. The time-lapse of 47 seconds could have been so the audience didn't sit there watching metal melt / paint dry for a few minutes and not have to incur the cost of extending that scene. Just my thoughts.

Yea pretty much. Eitri has been smithing weapons for hundreds of years, his estimation of "it will take a few minutes, maybe more" is about as reliable as a character statement can get.
There is a detail which Danco is forgetting Thor is has been dodging Photon blasts at close range. Photon blasts travel at speed of light while bullets travel at speed of sound.
No point in this battle we know this fight is going to black adam because of Danco's love for speedsters. Any character that has a bullet time effect in movies automatically wins in Danco's eyes. To be fair that's just marvels problem they don't translate speed very well for all those heroes who react in that time.

No only his speed will be problematic. Thor is stronger so equalize speed and I’m pretty sure he packs more a punch and he knows how to amp his as well with lighting he does that. Plus he’s thougher so just because you get rid of a weapon it isn’t needed it does not give Thor his abilities nor taking it will boost BA durability however it’s the speed difference that will always be a issue in the movie universe.
The reality is Odin corrected this, as much as thor loves his weapons, he doesn't need them. He is just as strong without them, they help channel HIS power, not give him power. Now thor has the Odin force, when he learns to use it properly and becomes king thor, black adam is nothing. Think of Hella, thor was more them enough for her after he understood his power, but then they nerfed him AGAIN to not outshine Ironman and mighty thor, no thor is stomping black adam.

Danco annoys me when he ONLY compares based on weapons. For example when he debates who KONG could beat and the contest has the assumption that he will have that big battle axe. There should also be an answer to if he could win WITHOUT the giant battle axe. When a hero has a weapon, unless loss of that weapon means he is not really the same character anymore effectively (like Iron Man minus the armor or a Green Lantern minus the power ring) then there should also be an answer of how they would do without the weapon.

There are a few things that people are missing in this calculation. 1. Thor has millennia training as a fighter. His fighting skills are unmatched by almost any marvel character. Thor has probably faced speedsters before and will have tactics to deal with them. 2. Thor's lightning attacks can be both directional or area affect. They are also magical, so Black Adam is vulnerable to them. 3. With his hammer, Thor has a way of shutting off magic for a limited time (shown in the comics against Absorbing Man). This would completely shut down Black Adam as he would revert back to his scrawny human form. 4. Black Adam is only borrowing the powers of Gods. Thor not only has the power, but is a God. 5. Thor knows a little Asgardian Magic and has surged beyond his normal limits using it to defeat his foes. For all these reasons, I say that even if Thor did get defeated due to speed, he would take a tactical retreat long enough to figure out a way to combat Black Adam and put him down with any of the millennia of abilities he has previously developed.

I think Thor has high heat durability, but the metal frame around the star took the same heat and wasn't affected while Thor withered over time. Loki, Ultron, Gorr, Hela, and Base-level Thanos all have drawn blood from Thor, 2 of which crushed him. Only Sabac made Black Adam bleed... Which he regenerated from. Stormbreaker would make a difference in this is my opinion, but I agree that Black Adam would win after a big fight!
You have to realize that the tech around the Star is literally made to withstand that heat. It’s more than likely enhanced with magic as well. So that’s kinda unfair to point out. Loki and ultron drawing blood from Thor was when the mcu was vastly underpowering Thor for some reason. That all changed once Ragnarok came out. Still not comic level, but they stopped making him look average. As for the other people that injured him. They are literally god level. I actually don’t remember Gorr doing any real damage to Thor. But I also refuse to watch that movie again, so I could be wrong. But Thanos has the power to crush the tesserect in his hand casually. It takes country levels of energy to break the tesserect. Thor was not even knocked out by Thanos literally abusing him. Hela gets a power boost from being in Asgard and he could still hang with her. Had she not had a healing factor there, she would have probably died fighting him. The thing I would say is, it looks like black Adam gets hit a lot by people a lot slower than him. If Thor even lands one hit with stormbreaker to Adam’s chest, it’ll be a problem

That would be either tensile strength or toughness in physics terms. The coulomb barrier is an energy barrier that must be overcome to force two atoms to undergo nuclear fusion, ie a fusion reaction. This is shown by Bruce Banner saying: "He'd have to heat the cube to 120 million kelvin just to break through the coulomb barrier." Stark replied: "Unless Dr. Selvig has figured out how to stabilize the Quantum Tunneling Effect." Banner: "Well if he could do that, he could achieve heavy ion fusion at any reactor on the planet.". Cool story, what does that mean in English terms? If they heat the cube to 120 million Kelvin, (which the sun averages at about 6000 Kelvin), then you could achieve nuclear fusion, unless they could reach a state of cold fusion which is theoretically possible but not feasible yet as of 2022. But that doesn't mean that amount of heat to cause fusion is the same as newton's, or force to be crushed. Glass can be heated to certain temperatures before melting, and far beyond those temperatures before it would achieve nuclear fusion. But it can break under a certain amount of crushing force but is still incredibly strong. Various metals aren't as strong as glasses tensile strength, but we wouldn't go crazy if Thanos crumpled a glass box or aluminum foil ball. It's still a feat that is extremely impressive to crush a crystalyn structure with one hand so effortlessly, but to say that the coulomb barrier is equal to tensile strength is like comparing bricks to bananas: two very different things. If the coulomb barrier did equal tensile strength, and the sun only is 6000 Kelvin, then Thanos would be exerting the energy of 120,000,000 Kelvin, or that of 20,000 of our sun. Without the power stone. That would put base Thanos at the potential of busting entire solar system without the use of any infinity stones... Like dang son, if that's the case, Captain America holding Thanos back in IW for even a second would make Cap as powerful as the Sun!! Do you see the flaw? But I don't blame you for getting units mixed up, the MCU actually is very flawed in it's scientific accuracy in many factors, not including their attempt to call magic science.
gorr hela and base level thanos would all also draw blood from adam so listing them was pointless also 1 ultron thor would kill easily its the amount of ultrams that cause the problem and of course in that movie thor held back

I was just bring in who had hurt who in the MCU and DCEU films. Granted Thor is I'm at least 8 films while Black Adam is just in 1, so not a lot to compare him against just yet.

I saw another video that explained Superman's nuclear bomb situation. Superman was still very weak from the krptonite attack from Batman, this is proven by Superman still having the scar on his cheek - if you pause this video at 13:32 you see that he is still suffering the effects of the kryptonite meaning he is far weaker and less durable than normal. He didn't heal until after the nuke and then got affected again before his death. Superman would not have been affected by that nuke had he not was still suffering from k poisoning. Also it was night which delayed his ability to heal, when hit with the sun in space he heals immediately. Also we see Doomsday giving off low yield nuclear level blasts after Supes threw him into the refinery. Batman hid, WW was protected by her shield but Supes took it like nothing.

As for why he doesn't appear to be that fast, it's because entertaining the audience is more important than accurately portraying speed. You won't be entertained if you can't track/see the characters' attacks in fights because they move too quickly. Take DCAU Flash, he is explicitly stated to be light speed and can outrun Sinestro's light speed beams, but he is nowhere near that fast visually. When fighting Steppenwolf, Wonder Woman can casually block bullets with slo mo effects but cannot move faster than a regular human. Not to say that these characters aren't fast; they just don't appear to be in certain scenes, which moviegoers can appreciate.
Why do you over hyped DC characters speed. You do realize that marvel director's do say that the heros are just as fast as their DC counterparts, it's just that in marvel movies they make their speed slower so that the fans can actually enjoy the fights better
this guy just doesn't like the MCU plain and simple, Black Adam's only attack seems to be his lightning bolts, unlike Thor that can absorb his attacks with his Hammer Mjolnir which could easily absorb that bolt of lightning bolt and send it back ten fold, also Thor has his Hammer that could pound Black Adam and don't forget Thor's greatest weapon the God Blast.
You seriously, need to check out Thor's battle with Silver Surfer who could biltz Black Adam. Understand Thor is a well trained cosmic warrior. He's a beter skilled fighter than Black Adam. And Thor just doesn't have lighting. He is the God of Strength and he control weather on cosmic level. He absorbs energy along with being Magical.
Blk Adam doesn't stand a chance because thor can fight for days weeks etc and stop using speed here for blk adam because that is not an issue for thor . There's no way blk adam can defeat thor. Thor is on another level he is insanably super strong given that he also was granted his fathers' powers

Some persons don't know how fast Thor is. The destroyer armour beams have been said to be Light, thanos can keep up and react to Captain Marvel plasmas, which are said to be Photon beams. Thor is LS to FTL bcus he's feats with the destroyer armour was when he was young and weaker

I've seen a hell ton of his videos, and I just think when it comes to Danco, if you are remotely fast, you immediately win with a negative difficulty. Basically his argument is- "~charcter~ is omnipotent, can harness thousands of powers, is immortal, and tanked the Big Bang, but since ~opponent~ is quick, ~opponent~ wins." Speed ain't everything. Also, I feel like there is a Black Adam Fanforce coming up.

I'm sorry but i have to bring myself to disagree. Thor is preety much superior than Black Adam in every aspect, strenght, durability, hax, even their lightning are preety much equal. The only thing that BA is supposedly superior is his speed, and even them, that's false! Mjolnir was literally able to fly from the Sun to Earth in roughly 2 seconds! That's more than enough to rivalize and maybe even surpass Black Adam's speed. So yeah, Thor's much superior in strenght and durability, and he's equal to Black Adam in terms of speed and lightning. I don't think i have to explain more, Thor is true winner of this fight, with Mid-High difficult.

Thor was shown to be bullet proof in Age of Ultron, during the battle of Sokovia.The inhibitor disc is made up of alien technology, so it stands to reason to be capable of piercing Thor skin. It was able to pierce through Korg's skin who entire body is made up of stone or maybe Hulk skin who at one point in the past was a prisoner of Sakaar.

The time-lapse of 47 seconds could have been so the audience didn't sit there watching metal melt / paint dry for a few minutes and not have to incur the cost of extending that scene. The reality is Odin corrected this, as much as thor loves his weapons, he doesn't need them. He is just as strong without them, they help channel HIS power, not give him power. Danco annoys me when he ONLY compares based on weapons. For example when he debates who KONG could beat and the contest has the assumption that he will have that big battle axe. There should also be an answer to if he could win WITHOUT the giant battle axe.
When a hero has a weapon, unless loss of that weapon means he is not really the same character anymore effectively (like Iron Man minus the armor or a Green Lantern minus the power ring) then there should also be an answer of how they would do without the weapon.

There are a few things that people are missing in this calculation. 1. Thor has millennia training as a fighter. His fighting skills are unmatched by almost any marvel character. Thor has probably faced speedsters before and will have tactics to deal with them. 2. Thor's lightning attacks can be both directional or area affect. They are also magical, so Black Adam is vulnerable to them. 3. With his hammer, Thor has a way of shutting off magic for a limited time (shown in the comics against Absorbing Man). This would completely shut down Black Adam as he would revert back to his scrawny human form. 4. Black Adam is only borrowing the powers of Gods. Thor not only has the power, but is a God. 5. Thor knows a little Asgardian Magic and has surged beyond his normal limits using it to defeat his foes. For all these reasons, I say that even if Thor did get defeated due to speed, he would take a tactical retreat long enough to figure out a way to combat Black Adam and put him down with any of the millennia of abilities he has previously developed.

I think Thor has high heat durability, but the metal frame around the star took the same heat and wasn't affected while Thor withered over time. Loki, Ultron, Gorr, Hela, and Base-level Thanos all have drawn blood from Thor, 2 of which crushed him. Only Sabac made Black Adam bleed... Which he regenerated from. Stormbreaker would make a difference in this is my opinion, but I agree that Black Adam would win after a big fight!
You have to realize that the tech around the Star is literally made to withstand that heat. It’s more than likely enhanced with magic as well. So that’s kinda unfair to point out. Loki and ultron drawing blood from Thor was when the mcu was vastly underpowering Thor for some reason. That all changed once Ragnarok came out. Still not comic level, but they stopped making him look average. As for the other people that injured him. They are literally god level. I actually don’t remember Gorr doing any real damage to Thor. But I also refuse to watch that movie again, so I could be wrong. But Thanos has the power to crush the tesserect in his hand casually. It takes country levels of energy to break the tesserect. Thor was not even knocked out by Thanos literally abusing him. Hela gets a power boost from being in Asgard and he could still hang with her. Had she not had a healing factor there, she would have probably died fighting him. The thing I would say is, it looks like black Adam gets hit a lot by people a lot slower than him. If Thor even lands one hit with stormbreaker to Adam’s chest, it’ll be a problem

That would be either tensile strength or toughness in physics terms. The coulomb barrier is an energy barrier that must be overcome to force two atoms to undergo nuclear fusion, ie a fusion reaction. This is shown by Bruce Banner saying: "He'd have to heat the cube to 120 million kelvin just to break through the coulomb barrier." Stark replied: "Unless Dr. Selvig has figured out how to stabilize the Quantum Tunneling Effect." Banner: "Well if he could do that, he could achieve heavy ion fusion at any reactor on the planet.". Cool story, what does that mean in English terms? If they heat the cube to 120 million Kelvin, (which the sun averages at about 6000 Kelvin), then you could achieve nuclear fusion, unless they could reach a state of cold fusion which is theoretically possible but not feasible yet as of 2022. But that doesn't mean that amount of heat to cause fusion is the same as newton's, or force to be crushed. Glass can be heated to certain temperatures before melting, and far beyond those temperatures before it would achieve nuclear fusion. But it can break under a certain amount of crushing force but is still incredibly strong. Various metals aren't as strong as glasses tensile strength, but we wouldn't go crazy if Thanos crumpled a glass box or aluminum foil ball. It's still a feat that is extremely impressive to crush a crystalyn structure with one hand so effortlessly, but to say that the coulomb barrier is equal to tensile strength is like comparing bricks to bananas: two very different things. If the coulomb barrier did equal tensile strength, and the sun only is 6000 Kelvin, then Thanos would be exerting the energy of 120,000,000 Kelvin, or that of 20,000 of our sun. Without the power stone. That would put base Thanos at the potential of busting entire solar system without the use of any infinity stones... Like dang son, if that's the case, Captain America holding Thanos back in IW for even a second would make Cap as powerful as the Sun!!

I saw another video that explained Superman's nuclear bomb situation. Superman was still very weak from the krptonite attack from Batman, this is proven by Superman still having the scar on his cheek - if you pause this video at 13:32 you see that he is still suffering the effects of the kryptonite meaning he is far weaker and less durable than normal. He didn't heal until after the nuke and then got affected again before his death. Superman would not have been affected by that nuke had he not was still suffering from k poisoning. Also it was night which delayed his ability to heal, when hit with the sun in space he heals immediately. Also we see Doomsday giving off low yield nuclear level blasts after Supes threw him into the refinery. Batman hid, WW was protected by her shield but Supes took it like nothing.

Take DCAU Flash, he is explicitly stated to be light speed and can outrun Sinestro's light speed beams, but he is nowhere near that fast visually. When fighting Steppenwolf, Wonder Woman can casually block bullets with slo mo effects but cannot move faster than a regular human. Not to say that these characters aren't fast; they just don't appear to be in certain scenes, which moviegoers can appreciate.

I'm sorry but i have to bring myself to disagree. Thor is preety much superior than Black Adam in every aspect, strenght, durability, hax, even their lightning are preety much equal. The only thing that BA is supposedly superior is his speed, and even them, that's false! Mjolnir was literally able to fly from the Sun to Earth in roughly 2 seconds! That's more than enough to rivalize and maybe even surpass Black Adam's speed. So yeah, Thor's much superior in strenght and durability, and he's equal to Black Adam in terms of speed and lightning. This is very close, but im going for BA...they both insanely strong and durable but BA is just faster and wiser...one thing they never really show us is "is Thor bulletproof"? If he is with unpenetrable skin, how the heck did the Grandmaster attach the taser in his neck??? I remember the scene where he fough Hulk on the flying Shield carrier, when the Fighter Jet came and opened fire, Thor actualy moved away from the bullets, that was weird, they never showed up Thor taking bullets, they showed Black Phanter, Iron Man, Hulk...hence i dnt think Thor is bulletproof. Whenever a character has bulletproof capability, they always showcase that at some point, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Superman, Shazam, Hulk, Black Adam, Black Panther(suit), Iron-man(suit), but for some reason they never showed Thor taking a bullet, not even a blade being stopped by his skin.
Thor was shown to be bullet proof in Age of Ultron, during the battle of Sokovia.The inhibitor disc is made up of alien technology, so it stands to reason to be capable of piercing Thor skin. It was able to pierce through Korg's skin who entire body is made up of stone or maybe Hulk skin who at one point in the past was a prisoner of Sakaar.
