There is a couple here in the lakes region of New Hampshire who have a TC and a TD, they take them out on nice days, he in the TC, she in the TD. The back roads here are well scaled for these cars, twisting and turning with lots of elevation changes, plenty of dirt roads too. Speeds 35-45MPH through the wooded byways, perfect for those cars. I enjoy those roads in my '16 Mazda MX-5/Miata, more rarely in my Jaguar F-Type 3.0 6mt or '06 Jaguar XJ8.A lot of interesting cars come out of their barns and garages in the warmer months.

That sounds like a perfect environment for cars like these. Most of the roads we are driving on in this part of Oregon are officially 55 mph speed limits, but some of them are windy enough that you rarely, if ever get above 45 mph. Most of this was filmed in a relatively flat part of the valley fairly early in the channel's lineup, mostly because it allowed easy filming, that's harder to do on the more twisty roads with lots of tree cover. We're getting better at it though and have made some changes to our camera setup that has improved what we can do on later episodes. The Miata and F-Type are also great cars. There's also a 2015 F-Type in the collection which was my daily driver for quite a while,. It's the 5.0L V8 with the 8 speed automatic, but being the first year of the coupe, its RWD, rather than AWD like all the V8s from 2016 on. I suspect Jaguar went to AWD more out of safety concern due to how easily the car can get away from an inexperienced driver. .

That would be so much fun! Having a little MG weekend trip. There are more MGs in the collection, maybe we might have to do a dual episode someday!

This was very enjoyable. I know it's not the same model of car, but this one always reminds me of the car in the Disney Mr. Toad cartoon.
