It would be a huge help! I think they really did want to make sorta a stop gap part of the game...which hasn't really been done in any of the mainline souls before.
If you are still struggling, use the Puppet Ripper weapon, and dodge every attack and only attack after the boss crawls toward you (after the 4th attack). Attack with 1 charged heavy attack and then wait until you get the chance again. When you hit him with a charged heavy attack using this weapon, it will also kill the other enemies that come from him that are in range.
Bro, this advice worked absolutely well, I've just beaten this boss using seven coil spring sword+3, flamberge, and also an amulet that increases your stamina recovery. Basically I had to wait every time till he started crawling and use that moment to hit him with special or charge attacks. Took me more than 30-40 attempts... But the joy you got once you kill it is priceless 😂 Thanks!!
all you have to do is stay by his feet and keep circling him and never leaving once. I did that and killed him without any trouble. The boss wants you to run away so it can hit you with its special attacks.
parry timing need to be increased like sekiro has more parry timing then this, when game is built around parry then let us parry and not make it like something so obscenely hard, also this boss has one hit decay like one miss time parry and whole fight over @@KizWhalifa.

Thank you for this! I got him to half health a few times trying to perfect guard him and finally got it done on like my 3rd attempt using this method. Used a level 9 salamander dagger and was able to ignite him a few times. On almost all his other attacks I just dodged and then got 4-5 hits in once he did the flop attack. Too much work trying to perfect guard this guy.
Glad it worked out well for you! I like the idea of perfect guarding, but my playstyle is more focused on finding small openings to get my attacks in, lol.
My tip is after the boss before this one before going down the elevator go back to the star gazer cause you can still travel before the story continues and grind the consumables again or just buy so much that you have back ups or put a save in the cloud after you get to this point so you can always get consumables
Advance build can be amazing in some areas and really difficult in others so I'm glad you were able to take the boss down! Best of luck in the later part of the game!

I stopped right here when Final fantasy 7 Rebirth came out, and now revisiting it since I beat FF7 and caught back up on Elden Ring, I had no idea where I was lmao then I saw this boss fog and instantly said, "fuck, I stopped at this boss fight" lol now I have no choice but to beat him. I had only attempted one fight against him before I stopped back in February. Wish me luck.
This fight is excruciating. It probably is a skill issue, but I can’t get lower than half health and this maybe where I stop playing this game forever. It’s a shame but regardless of how much I love a game it’s not worth getting an ulcer.

Hey Ogles I found the pizza cutter was better this time. I just hit him and sidestepped. Then when his back is turned I use a heavy attack. I also tossed the Pandemonium (acid) when I could. I wouldn't worry about his sons when they appear. I think he kills them if he hits them. The spear does build acid but it takes quite a while to kill him with that so the pizza cutter is better. just hit him once, sidestep, rinse and repeat and he goes down. P.S. it took me only 15 tries LOL
Nice strategy for this one! I don't think I even experiemented with that weapon on my playthrough. Loved it in Bloodborne, but just didn't give it a go here, lol. Thanks for the tips on a great strategy!
The Walker of Illusion drained everything out of me. I did not even enjoy my victory. Going from that to this guy? I'm just tired, frustrated, impatient and lack the mental strength to deal with this fool now too. The Walker of Illusions ate up all my throwables, as the creators were probably hoping. I have nothing left. These creators, do they sacrifice baby pandas for fun too?
End of February 2024. There is only one part to the corrupt parade master now. Or at least there was for me. It seems to toss all the tactics into one but wasn’t that hard. Got it done in less than 5 try’s 👍🏾
Got him first try! But had no more pulse cells. And i got snuck up by one of the minion dudes. 😄 i was so nervous that id have to fight him again even tho i got the rewards 😅
Hey i hope you see this. So I switched from dex to strenght recently. I see you using quic attacks and I've tried your method but swing too slow. Do you know how to respec so I could go back to dex and do your strat. I love your method and I think I could pull it off with my dex weapons.
Thanks for reaching out! You can respec your character but it’s a bit later in the game. I think the start of Chapter 7 is when you can. I personally love a faster moving character and quick attacks. Hope this helps!
Part of my problem is, at least on Xbox, the game doesn’t always respond to a button press. I’m not playing on the cloud, so I’m not sure what’s going on. It’s done this at times all throughout the game.

They make some of these bosses and even mini bosses so insanely difficult that it’s not even enjoyable when you beat them

Yeah they need to adjust the parry timing and make enemies hits more telegraphed like sekiro

That grab animation is complete bullshit. It's exactly the same animation as basic attacks. This game has too many frustrating bosses I swear...

This was the easiest boss for me oddly enough
