I was eleven when my friends and I started watching SCTV. Johnny LaRue, Count Floyd and snorting Edith Prickley were my favorites. Quality writing and endearing characters along with a golden age of characters on Saturday Night Live like The Blues Brothers.

"I know you knew Groucho" is such an underrated line
"In my day, they called it a Western."
This is a spot on impression, and hilarious ... but also oddly menacing. I have no doubt that this Dick Cavett would pull the trigger.
Rick Moranis playing Dick Cavett playing Robert De Niro playing Travis Bickle.
😂😅
He's just a dude playing a dude playing another dude disguised as a dude.
Really funny! SCTV was hilarious. We need to bring them back.
The SCTV movie of the week. Always fun.
Truly a brilliant portrayal of a man on the edge...
Golden age of comedy.
The calmer more rational Travis Bickle.
Me and my brothers would stay up late to watch SCTV.
It was on different channels and diff days.
I wanted to be friends with 'Johnny LaRue'
🤣
😆
Wes Anderson's Taxi Driver
I wanna see him do the stove scene and constantly screaming "Ouch! damn it!"
too funny! loved you guys and girls......and others....lol
The Sammy Maudlin Show! ROFLMFAO!!
The soft ”d’ya kno wat I mean”
Rick Moranis would have been a better Jim Baker
He did play Jim Baker, in the Orwell's 1984 episode.
Ask crazy legs.
Rick Moranis can also do Merv Griffin and Woody Allen, and of course Dick Cavett in Taxi Driver!
I already have done it I am finished
Different.
hahah
Too bad Rick didn't have a pistol when he was "culturally enriched" in NYC. Get well soon.
Rick would have punched you in the face for being racist.
They could never do this today. Politically correct and woke feminists would never allow it.
Why not? Not anti-fem
@@RichardTroiano Because it's just something we have to say on every piece of media that anyone over 30 is nostalgic for.
Just enjoy the comedy and put your political nonsense elsewhere
@@danhalverson1868 I can't enjoy woke comedy.
Moranis was by far the weakest SCTV cast member, but I closed my eyes for this, and the voice was pretty good.
he could carry more than his weight and was always a solid character....very entertaining comedian I thought
weaker than Harold Ramis or Dave Thomas?

@@neilm2794 neither is a better actor than Moranis. Ramis was barely on the show and you consider him better because he was a writer? lol
