For example the new crappy shops may object and claim it will bring back the evil foreign tourists they seem to hate. Or there could be suspicion of illegal activity by the owner like money laundering or whatever. They don't even need prosecutions. Suspicion seems enough.

Too overcrowded and out of control as usual, this place is now in the history books for me.
Weekday evenings are bearable but the girls are mostly too expensive and have bad attitudes now.
