Kids clean up, teachers clean up... something that Europeans and all other nations should learn from them. It doesn't surprise me that every time I watch videos from Japan, everything is always so neat and clean. Love it!

They seem so well behaved for such young children! They are a credit to their teachers 🥰

This is very similar to my kids’ hoikuen in Gifu prefecture. All the outdoor time, the positive praising by teachers, and nutritious lunches are things I really like about their hoikuen.

Gifu's a great place. I'd love to be back in the snow. Outdoor time and plenty of space are nice things about hoikuens in the countryside.

Taught in a youchien and a houikuen. They are pleasant and a learning process for many of us.

Thanks for watching! Good things and bad like with any country, but for us the good outweigh the bad. IMO, early education is one of the good things.

In Japan, parents know their young children will not be physically or mentally abused while in school by the teachers, unlike in the US.

Be sure to click on CC (closed caption for subtitles). If they don't show up, there may be a few parts that I still need to add the English subtitles. If you're talking about the links to other Yamamae Hoikuen's site, you might have to use google translate since they don't have an English version.

Can kids born to both foreign parents attend nursery for free in Japan?

    • @getting2knowjapan

It depends on if one or both parents are working and the amount of income.

Is that all you see is something negative?
Look for good & you will find something positive & helpful to say.
