Harvard admits Equity Bank’s Haya

Ten years ago Naphtal Haya moved to Mathare North as internally displaced persons following post elections violence that left the family destitute. He joined Alliance High School where he scored an A in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam. He applied for and gained admission to Harvard University to study Biomedical Engineering.
