    I've watched many photography videos and this is my first of yours. Here is where yours excels IMHO...
    • Well organized and planned presentation that first tells what you will do, then tells how you are doing it, at the conclusion clearly summarizes what we just saw.
    • Good camera/lens/flash settings descriptions, setup dimensions, and the "why" for all of them.
    • Absolutely love the continuous video screen split of 2/3 for the entire scene (you, camera, lighting, and subject) and 1/3 for your camera LCD image/settings! So much better than having a videographer wandering around out of sight trying to figure out where to point the video camera.
    • Extremely good delivery, volume, speech- without hysteria and fake enthusiasm. Just good, solid how-to and tips.
    Thank you for sharing this first-rate video. ⭐x5

    Thanks Jiggie for your wonderful tutorial. As always, I enjoy your teaching style very much. One thing I found puzzling is when you opened your aperture by 4 stops (from f/5.6 to f/1.4) and used an ND32 neutral density filter to darken by 5 stops, I was expecting a 1 stop underexposure (4-5 = -1 stop). Instead, you had an overexposure and you need to reduce your flash power by half a stop (9.5 to 9.0) to make it work. Can you explain? My guess is perhaps you used an ND8 filter instead.

    Does the quality of a flash impact its ability to do HSS? I have a Godox V860iiC, AD200’s, and an AD600. I haven’t noticed any degradation…yet.
    Using an ND was a great tip. Thanks.

      I don't think so. I have same combination of strobes & speedlight. In this particular video, the shutter speed is way too much. That's the reason the picture was underexposed.

    Excellent fullbody portraits there. I shoot with Godox AD200 and I observe that the photos have a very pure white shade. The colour temperature of the flash is 5600K and even after keeping the same temperature in the camera while shooting, the output is very white. How are you managing to get a warm output because I think your flash temperature is also around 5600K?

    • @JiggieAlejandrino
      @JiggieAlejandrino  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Flash units from different brands tend to give different color temperatures. One of the reasons why some are more expensive than others
