Man.... ssrly I saw this video in mrng.. at 1 I had final perio exam...and mrng I was so sleepy to look into book and I just saw the video... like I was not even listening properly.. but istg it came for short notes... and I remember all the pictures and dialogues and I'm grateful to u.. thanks so much...

Can u explain the relation betweenmateri alba and plaque ?

Materia alba and plaque the same thing. It's just the difference in the resilience of these. Materia alba is less resilient and can be easily removed. But as it develops and starts attracting the bacterial colony it turns into plaque which is very resilient in nature and can't be removed easily.
