- A small group of Soldiers are dropped in the Highlands of Scotland to keep a counter team of SAS sharp. Their mission is to move through and capture key points before ultimately confronting them. However, their first night there, things dont go as planned. They end up finding whats left of the SAS the next morning. From this point on, the small group of soldiers are hunted by monstrous werewolves who seem to retain a bit of their human intellect as well. So today we will be talking about lycanthropy and the ensuing werewolves as well as why they may be susceptible to silver!

Nothing beats a scene of a Soldier throwing literaly everything but the kitchensink at a werewolf and then fistfighting it.
Just smacks a werewolf's hand with a hammer, throws plates at it and then challenges it to a fistfight out of sheer anger alone.

Don't care what anyone says, Spoon was the MVP of this, taking on a werewolf in hand to hand and winning!
The girl who was shot in the head was not turned into a werewolf due to cutting herself on the window. She was part of the family that is the werewolves all along.
I love how he finds medical explanations for everything he sees in the creatures. Derpy acting due to wearing a heavy werewolf suit = clumsiness caused by elongated nerves and brain degeneration. This is simply perfect, the reason why internet positive traits surpass negative traits.
This movie is a great example of how practical effects are better then CGI
Funny thing is, poison in general is recommended for use against werewolves along with silver and quicksilver. Specifically the plant hemlock is named and it is a pretty deadly poison to normal people as it is, let alone if they had the metabolism o& a werewolf.
Megan was always a werewolf, there's a few scenes where you can see a giant faint claw mark on her arm. She presumably was turned years ago when she went up there to study werewolves.

The werewolf grabbing the shotgun and shooting it back is borderline hilarious.

I love this movie. It is not only funny, but it actually has the military actually giving it a damn good fight against the mythical monsters, actually technically beating them even. While not super competent if one looks at it from a realism standpoint, the soldiers are head and shoulders above the vast majority of government/armed forces in horror movies here and it shows.
The whole SAS selection scenes was awesome. And the concept of using infantry as bait for the SAS was brilliant. That and these grunts are just likable characters, even for coats. : )
