As an owner of multiple Porsche GT models, I've been grappling with the difficult decision of how to rationalize my collection while keeping the spirit and thrill of my automotive journey intact.
This GT3, which represents a substantial portion of my $800,000 Porsche investment, holds a special place in my heart. Its distinct characteristics and the sheer joy it has brought me made this decision anything but easy. However, striking a balance between my love for the 997.2 GT3 RS and the GT4 RS has led me to this tough choice.

Didn't even know Deman did a 4.5L upgrade of the 991 GT3. The sound is absolutely incredible. I miss my 991.2 gt3 manual after watching this.

No. I would not. Don’t see as much of a point doing this upgrade to a PDK car

I believe Deman does a 4.1 conversion for the 3.8L

The 997 is just perfection.
My family has 2, my father with a 997.1 GT3 and myself with a 997.1 C4S.
Even my bunky C4S punches so far above its weight. Drove the newer standard cars and my car is just...better. Worse in every metric but yet better as a whole. Just needs a bit of power.

Was this engine upgrade 600 at the wheel?
No.... It makes 530 wheel on a hub dyno. But the power isn't the story. It's the difference in torque. Upwards of 100 wheel torque in the midrange and 60 peak. And it still revs to 9K
@@MiamiMiles agreed. That sound is unreal. Very special car. Manual transmission and that sound is a beautiful thing.
I have a heavily modified C7 ZO6 with a manual and I love it. It's special in its own way given the current trajectory of what type of cars are being made. I'll never sell it. But I'm always thinking what I would like next, and I'm definitely envious of your car.
Congrats on your amazing whip. I love the c7 gen. I don't think you can go wrong with a GT3, but you'll think it's slow. The Deman upgrade eliminates the sensation of slow.
@@MiamiMiles yes, I believe you. I do a lot of back road driving, we call them Farm roads in Texas. A car like yours would be wonderful for that type of driving and big Power wouldn't matter at all. Also there's a lot of good tracks if I wanted the track the car. My thought process would be seeking a different Driving Experience.

That Deman conversion is a waste of money! car is worth more standard!!
I disagree with it being a waste a money from a driving experience. It's 2x the car it used to be. It's gamechanging. That being said, I know that this car is not for anyone and I respect your opinion. This car will sell to someone who wants insanity and something different. Otherwise, a normal GT3 is the ticket.
No one is getting their money back from a Deman conversion. Porsches are always worth more original.
