M670 Super On The Disk And Field Cultivator

Time to work on the corn food plot for the deer. The ground has dried up enough for the moment. See my 1969 Minneapolis Moline M670 Super gas on the MM disk and MM field cultivator. We are ready to spread some fertilizer and plant some corn.

Nice to hear that sound of that M670. I spent many hours plowing with an M670 LP narrow front. I believe that had over 14,000 hours on it and the engine was never touched. In the fall it ran 24/7 on the corn dryer. It had a hose connected to the 1000 gallon main tank so it never ran out of fuel. Only shut off when the dryer ran out of corn or for an oil change.

That tractor pulled that disk pretty well. How many horsepower is the 670? Did MM use Oliver fenders on that model - they sure look like it. I know in the last couple years of their existence there was some crossover between the 2 brands.

After plowing you have large chunks of soil and you go over it with a disc to break up the soil.

That M-670 pulls the disk really nice and it "snorts" good too.
