Guys, I can safely confirm to you that I’ve just started a new cycle, using this build exclusively and it really works on ALL BOSSES easy! Not too much trouble at all. This is S Tier Build. I’m on NG+3 btw
Fun fact: if you use the COMMON Wukong set found in a hidden chest in Chapter 6, you actually get substantially more damage reduction than the Bull King's set because it stacks in accordance to how many Great Sage talents you have unlocked regardless of its base stats. This lets you still enjoy the benefits of perfect dodges (at the cost of losing Tenacity)
That is awesome information and a good point. I completely forgot about that. Haven’t used that set in a while and completely forgot about that. I gotta put that set back into rotation😅
I am wondering am I alone doing the gauntlets only on 1 game played haven’t even finished the new game +. On last bosses now but focusing on gauntlet and skill sharpening before I continue. Noticed that the relic holders and anything beyond the spider boss gauntlet is taking way to little damage all of a sudden haha
Bro, that's a pretty dope tactic. I just got to Wukongs shell, this is my 2nd play through and has been less than or about 6 hours now. I just beat it the first time (100% for all the bosses, and had only missed a few items) maybe a week ago and got distracted via Broforce until the run. In NG+ I had only died in chapter 6, I didn't hug close enough to the giant skandhu mountain or whatever. But yeah, long story short, I just lost the final round (ov the 4 back to back battles), just barely . . . I panicked basically and attacked him when I shouldve used my cooldown pill, he had the smallest sliver ov HP left and was doing the most so I went into noob mode long enough for him to show me he is no push over 😅 Had I went with the bull armor like I did when fighting Erlang, well, who knows, but, damn that fight was good. I resurrected 3 times in base form, twice in Stone Monkey. Was a 23 minute battle, that was more akin to a serious power struggle. Took a break and found your video not even sure how I ended up on it, wasn't like I was looking for a new tactic. 😅 Not like it mattered, cuz I got one now after witnessing that bout. It was a very clear and straight forward display ov the build youre rockin. I fox with it 😂 ❤ In closing, yes, I am quite aware that this may have been a lot to read for the average person. That being said, we clearly need to be better than average. We need to have a fighting spirit like Son Goku's. Using ultra instinct on foes. Just sayin . . . super Saiyan
@MSenseiHD thanks man, I found you a while back but, I think that was my first comment. I just changed my armor and beat my own ass in record time. Gonna start the 3rd journey at some point soon. I've one transformation left to get the platinum trophy. I didn't even know if it was a thing or not, but on my first play I beat the rat dad first and got my ass handed to me by the son, so I came back and did it in reverse. Second time (technically 3rd but it's a new game or whatever 🤣) I had beat them both equally and timed it with a proper charged attack to kill them at the same time. Being difficult gave me the same outcome as before! The game was like, "Nope, you know I wanted you to beat them separately, not show them how weak and embarrassing they are in front ov God and his *insert blasphemy here*! For that I'll make you have to wait til deep within another play through for you to get a transformation you could really care less for!" So yeah, gonna get the last thing and have the trophies like a yautja. Hanging from a tree, stripped ov skin and dignity 😅🤣

Your breakdown of the Fang Cheyenne staff's mechanics was incredibly detailed. Have you tested the build against different enemy types to see how it performs under varying conditions?
Yes I have it’s one of my favorite staffs in the game. The staff works for you and what you want to accomplish for example if you wanna spec into lighting damage then you wanna focus more on the thrust stance, and enemies in water or just most enemies in general don’t like lightning damage so it’s very effective but if you want to ignore there resistances and mix it up with lightning and then try to stack other bane damages you can, for example if you use the ring of fire and the new lantern rewards from the gauntlet of legends you also build up scorch damage and at the same time and nuke the enemy with a scorch attack as well by switching and hitting with a four point pillar stance heavy attack. Your staff will also build up scorch damage and using the celestial birthstone fragment found in the 6 chapter from the frog boss you can ignore enemy resistance and do some serious damage.
It’s low key my new favorite staff in the game I never thought I would say it but I actually love using ring of fire now! I wish there was another great armor to use tho. Because the king bull is just to OP
The new ring of fire set is more aesthetic then practical. You can use it and it has a pretty cool effect on it but the only reason we use the king bull set is so we can fight without interruptions or being pushed to far away from ring of fire. Of course if you enjoy dodging as much as I do then you can use the new years set and see some pretty good results
Does it work against the great sage's broken shell on great sage's difficulty mode? I could beat Erlang using golden armor + fuban staff and plantain fan vortex yet the great sage is so strong in that difficulty. Have you tried beating him in that mode?
Okay, to answer the question yes. I can beat the great sage with this build the way it is but it’s by no means easy like the erlang shen fight. Erlang Shen I walked that man down but I have also been fight Erlang Shen since launch so that doesn’t really make it fair. It takes a lot of dodging and timing as well as knowledge of the fight as well as knowledge on when to use your resources but yeah I did defeat the great sage in all difficulties. It can be done but I don’t have a build that just walks him down.
@ I go with the rocks solid set or golden set with the fan! To control the battle. But it’s a tough fight if you don’t know all the dodge timing and attack partner
@@MSenseiHD I finally beat the great sage on the hardest difficulty using the fan and golden set. You're damn right about the knowledge of the fight. I had to learn his moves and dodge his attacks to beat him. It took me almost 13 minutes to kill him! Patience, keeping distance and dodging is a must!

Good build. I am going to give it a try. I am not sure if you already have or not, but can you make a build around the erlang hat and spear? Also I am looking for a good poison build.
Poison build, adept fuban staff, centipede hat and armor , venomous armgaurd, centipede grieves, soaks, loong balm, deathstinger, I also use the one that enhances cloudstep and the other two are tiger for crit hit, I think the gourd is immortal blessing for the enhanced attack after the sip, the curios I run are auspicious lantern, like two buddha heads, cat eye beads and the green orb that increase mana health and stamina apon resurrection, I use the needle for crit and scorpion prince
That right there is very close to the build I featured on the channel but I used guangmo and different curios. Solid build tho very effective and fun to play with insane damage potential very very nice!
Erlang spear build? I’m currently in testing phases of builds I would attempt I might be able to come up with something currently I’m all about the look so the ying yang daoist robes are gonna be in rotation but if I can make a good build that works I’ll post it on the channel.

Tenacity is way better than perfect dodges, it allows you to be in the action without interruptions.

You could take off the focus beads and put on the one that ignores enemy 4 bane resistance
