      Drago Fucksomanydumbitchesbutbigboobsthoughso in summer the temperature in average is almost the same in Germany and south Europe and there are more factors important for the temperature than just sunshine time, for example the sea which reflects heat, streams in the sea and so on

    • @billy5179
      @billy5179 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      on the pole you have a day of 6 month, its not the time but the suns angle the determents the temperature. near the aquator the sun has the shortest way through the atmosphere so its usually hotter. on the other hand the length of the day don't differ very much in winter and summer, while it gets more extreme going north or south from aquator.

    I was playing with Holger for one year and I was about 20 years younger. Now I would teach all the young guys that Basketball or any other sport is not the only sense in life. You have to increase your abilities in all spheres , so I am doing music, dancing, I am reading and practicing meditation, learning about plants, animals, and nature. When I was a coach for some years I made yoga with the kids and after many years they were very thankful for that. We also met together after practice and were talking about everything including the universe. So I can advice everybody not to be complete singleminded , focused only on basketball.

    A very cool video, I don't like the title though. Just because something or someone isn't understood at first sight it's easy to say they're crazy, but that's an insult in my opinion. And not once in this video was he called crazy (verrückt in German) was he? Instead the methods were unorthodox, unconventional, unique, ... which have a very different sound to me.
    That's all the criticism I have though, thanks for giving him some spotlight and making this!

    I would prefer consistent repetition as an athlete and a coach. I don't find this useless but I don't think that this is any secret or good method. In a short and long period of time consistent basketball-only dribbles would be a lot more effective for the single players abilities. Of course its not fun to shoot 200 3 pointers from every possible direction but in my opinion thats how you certainly get better. By doing it day in day out. I don't know what the exact purpose of this camp was and if Holger actually trains a team. But just because he allegedly discovered Dirk Nowitziki does not make him a good coach for me.

    • @M4tti87
      @M4tti87 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is not the point of the camp. Its a one week training camp for kids to get an insight view into the commitment you have to make if you are a pro. Obviously you have to do you 200 3 pointers in your general training. This is not what your everyday training should be like except you do your 200 3 pinters or whatever on top. Its kids and they should have fun and explore some new things.

    After single-handedly coaching/creating the best shooting PF that the NBA has seen so far, who the fuck would still be critical of this guy & his methods? lol...Maybe if Shaq (or another poor shooter) went to him, he might've fixed his free throw form! lol...I'm pretty sure this guy also coaches the German national team!

    • @mvoperry6816
      @mvoperry6816 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +IIPointmanII I agree with that 100%! he would be a bigger deal if he had even one more rotation player in the NBA, let alone star! ...My point was just that he could just become the free throw whisperer! Poor shooters, especially FT-shooting bigs (Dwight, DeAndre, etc) should go to him so he can fix their form and mechanics.

    • @theOnyFUFU
      @theOnyFUFU 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +ATL Well Cuban offered him an assistant job first of all; I don't think he was offered a player development position or something, which would be more ideal for him imo. Imagine if he get a guy like Tyson Chandler to start shooting jumpers well...would completely change the game! Rondo, Bass and Devin Harris all went to Gershwinder?

    • @Presbiter
      @Presbiter 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Daniel S We are not intolerant of any sport, you will not find any country in the world that has more leagues and organised teams of such a rich diverse field of different sports. Soccer is just the most popular here, thats all...and there is nothing wrong with it, like nothing would be wrong if lets say gymnastics or badminton would be the most popular.
      The only thing here intolerant is you, for not accepting that other people have a different answer to the question which sport they like most, so you smear them.

    yo how these kids keep throwing up bricks like that with a coach that taught dirk how to shoot? Geez ive never had a trainer and im considered as one of the best shooters in my highschool like i trained shooting for not very long and i average at least 3 threes, 4 midrange shots and if im having a good day i can hit 6 threes its not hard just fucking aim and know how much power u need for each shot, and if u didnt know follow through helps, it does that was one of my wrongs when i wasnt a good shooter. Good luck to everyone whos training there shot. Believe in yourself and dont try to overthink it too much it could just be your form if it doesnt work out as well.

      Congrats you're an average shooter, keep in mind these kids worked their asses off all day so they're undershooting everything because of the fatigue
