Ok, so, here's what I think the story is: Kassim and Stuwere best friends AND/OR lovers before and during culinary school. Right after culinary school, they were working in a kitchen together as sous chefs and got in a little fight about something that would have blown over by the end of the week - except that Stu stormed out to "cool down" and got into some sort of accident, where he got amnesia! Kassim still loves him (either romantically or platonically, whichever is your preference) and he also feels a little guilty for picking the fight with him in the kitchen on the night of the accident, so he has taken it upon himself to re-teach Stu everything there is to know about Chef Stuff, and if he's lucky he can also get their relationship back to where it was before The Accident!
The fact that this man didn't even season his first dish really gives a lot of credence to the idea that he only attended culinary school for one afternoon.
All of Kassim’s dialog felt like the beginning of a super cheesy “adult film” plot. Especially laid over these fat bassy jazz tracks 😂 “The delivery girl gave us free produce….we should find a way to thank her…”

It was hugely helpful when we had two dogs under a year old decide to need multiple ER visits each within a few months. It saved literally thousands.
As a person with a sibling who is a chef student; Yes. Half the time my brother just cooks for himself, which is what is the feel of this chef. He cooks only for himself and if you don't like it, that sucks for you. He is getting better, I think, but gosh he is annoying about it sometimes. Also, to add: Why can I make a better steak that this game? I don't even like the standard of beef!

You talk to kassim but his name isn’t kassim anymore, it’s like Kallim or something close enough that you’re wondering if you got it wrong or the developers messed up. You keep getting hints of your chef’s dark past (the reason they were out of the kitchen before) through Kassim’s dialogue or random environmental details in the back room.
