Dimash prepared us for what was coming when he did his Fly Away video. "You really think you know me, you really think you know. Set me free. I want to fly away..." And boy, did he ever.
He gonna get criticized no matter what not everyone will be pleased. But I’m glad a Dimash is doing what he likes to do and not afraid to do some venturing. He is extremely smart and you can’t put him in the box,probably he’ll get bored if he’ll be just do the same thing every time. His music give him opportunities to express himself and freedom. I love this MV it made me laugh, like the humor of it.

I went to his concert few days ago in İstanbul.He sang this song number 2 and It was mind blowing.it's sound better in live performance.
I was there too. I loved his new Nathan Wang song too. Hope he releases a mood video or something for that - SOON!
I love his versatility! For Smoke he gave us a spicy performance video and a funny one. He's experimenting... He doesn't fit in any box and I hope he never will. He is a free spirit and that is a privilege! Dears love him exactly for that.

The men with guns weren't undercover agents. They were the drug dealers. Dimash is the undercover agent who was asked to hold them on the phone for a couple minutes to give the police time to get there and bust them. What a better way for agent DQ to do that then through his music! That's why on the phone call the day before when asked if he could do it his response was "Easy". Love his sense of humor when coming up with the udea for that s video. I just wanted to make sure that people get tjis correctly.

Dimash is as free as he can be. And his real Dears love him for that. Originally, this song wasn't necessarily my favorite, but now it's got me. It's a catchy song for me. The video is really funny and well made. I love this free, cheeky creativity that he has and I really hope it stays with him for a long time. It's definitely important to him what his fans want, but he does it in his own way and I hope it stays that way.
He has a cute sense of Humber.... The plot of this video is hilarious 😂❤

Это , опять таки моё мнение, этот жест что-то напоминает, с чем борется Димаш, Война. Это как удар по живым людям, боль, страдания людей от войны!!!

Me gusta que Dimash se divierta! Me encanta musicalmente la canción. El MV ha Sido criticado, pero me gusta , es divertido!! Me recuerda a "La Máscara" cuando hizo bailar a los policías!! En este mundo cruel, también hay que divertirse.
Dimash always has a good and peaceful message in every song and MV he releases. In this video it was in a funny way that he conveyed his message. MUSIC can melt the hardest, coldest, and criminal heart and mind.

Hay un mensaje profundo de fondo...Dimash intenta decir que con la música, los seres "malos", elevarán su frecuencia vibratoria y habrá paz, .....el ejemplo de que por estar escuchando su voz a través del celular, los "distrajera" al ponerlos contentos, por lo que olvidaron estar atentos....y al experimentar gozo....la gente irá poniendo en una balanza que emociones les gustaria más experimentar, las de amor o las de estrés....Dimash con su nobleza y su arte esta aportando a mejorar la forma en que vivimos ... él contribuye a que haya paz, así que desde esa perspectiva, me encantó el videoclip,...nadie antes ha hecho lo que él....todo lo que hace lleva mensaje, no sólo cantar, que es su vía para ello con su bella voz

Granted the weapon handling was whack but was funny af.
So now a hot pink suit for the chesticles along with the silk pastel pink one for the wing wing....got it.
At the end of the mv, when Agent DQ’s at the telephone, plays “The Pink Panther Theme" , a composition by Henry Mancini written as the theme for the 1963 film The Pink Panther. This could also explain Agent DQ’s pink suit. As a kid I loved those funny films about inspector Jacques Clouseau who tries to catch a jewel thief who steals a priceless diamond known as "The Pink Panther". This music theme and it’s comic figure became so popular, that a comic TV series was created staring a pink panther. In german he was called Paulchen Panther.

But I‘m a tiny bit disappointed by the video. 😅 This could have been so great with a few tweaks.
The things you pointed out were mostly funny to me - and I can live with them - but thank you for flagging them. I was laughing with you the whole time. 🤣
But the real crime here was: they were all just standing or sitting around, while Dimash sang this glorious and ridiculously catchy monster of a song. (If you know We Got The Moves by Electric Callboy - where they first hypnotized the people with the music - and then all culminated in an awesome party… Smoke was like that only the movement was missing 😅)
What I would have really liked to see is a scene where he enters the mansion with the girls from the performance video and they distract the bodyguards and the boss with the singing AND the dancing AND the missing shirts.
And on the other side there could have been some girlfriends that get inspired to move and who start to dance around the bad guys and take away their guns to pull them into the dance. Or something similar. 😂❤
That song is too wonderful and deserves more action than a few shoulder movements and some wavy hands! 😜

Walter Afanasieff, a Hollywood song writer and producer and friend of Dimash's. He worked on this song while in California. I think the Dimash part was most likely all filmed in Kazakhstan because it looks a lot like the same place When I've Got you was filmed perhaps.

Great reaction Roscoe but one error. Agent DQ steals mob boss phone to phone his goons. The ones without weapons are likely the undercover guys that got caught out hence the need for the 2 minute distraction in the first place.
Loved the fact that the famous Walter Afanasyeff (Americain Producer) was playing the head "caught in the act" undercover guy with the ball cap and plaid.

Excerpts from the DimashNews (DN) interview with music producer Dmytro Gordon (DG):
DN: Dmytro, for 8 years you have been working alongside Walter Afanasieff in his company WallyWorld as a lead orchestrator and arranger, and you both have also written music for films.
What are the similarities and differences between producing music for renowned artists in the US and working with Dimash?
DG: „I would say that Dimash is much more open to experimentation than any other artist I have had the pleasure of working with so far. When it comes to an established artist with an existing fan base, they and their label are usually very cautious about trying new styles, new vocal techniques or anything that might confuse or alienate their core audience. And that makes sense, but the catch is that after a while their repertoire stagnates.
Dimash is the bravest artist I know to date: he deeply respects and cares about his dears, but he's not afraid to try new things, which he proves time and time again, including his latest releases. On a personal level, our collaboration has also evolved into a friendship, for which I'm forever grateful. It's much more authentic and fun to make music as friends, rather than just as collaborators. Ask the Beatles.
SMOKE... is completely modern, even experimental in certain aspects. Yes, it has an operatic vocalise in the choruses, but the context in which we hear it makes it impossible to pigeonhole it into a genre. It's also minimalist and open when it comes to the vocal melodies, harmonic content and instrumental textures (though it's not easy, and Dimash's unique vocal skills still shine through). Every musical decision in Smoke is super precise: take one thing away, and the song falls apart. Add another element - and it becomes oversaturated. That's how I would describe it.
... It's such a joy and an incredible privilege to work with Dimash, who I truly consider to be one of the best musicians in human history.
And then to receive all the love and gratitude from his fan base just feels heavenly. I'm so grateful to everyone who supported these new releases and who took the risk with us to open their hearts and ears to the new, unknown sides of Dimash. As for the new works - I don't want to spoil any surprises yet. But to quote a classic: «Soon!»
