Started watching you guys to try and build some enthusiasm to get some painting done, Kieran's pain is extremely helpful. In particular the mix of one positive and one miserable painter while I paint helps me both feel like im not suffering alone and gives me encouragement to get through.

Hates painting black, picks Goff scheme. I'm just finishing up the Ork CP an it's been a slog. Painting 20 boys is nasty, and I also chose Goffs to go with my Ghaz. 😂 next onto a Battlewagon..
No plan works very well indeed! I love both of these...seeing the orks makes me want to try starting with a brown undercoat that I can keep in the recesses as I shift to greenish yellow for the skin, then try a black wash for all the metal areas and work the metal up from that. Might be a few years before I get to my Orks though.
The custodes combat patrol is so many points that you have to choose to leave behind 4 guards (you get a shield captain) or the 3 bikes... so technically the Custodes Combat patrol is done.
These are hilarious to watch great viewing The custards have an either or in there combat patrol they have to pick between the guards or the bikes can't use both so you technically finished the custards. The orks look good do abit of basing and the checkers and stuff some other time. GREAT JOB LADS
I love your guys' material. These are the same arguments that I have had while painting my 2 current armies. Chin up Kiran your a winner in my books. 🎉
i guess i'm somewhat reliefed that you don't manage to finish them or i would be really wondering what the heck i'm doing wrong that it takes me so much more time to finish my minis.
The Custodes are looking really good. Mono-gold always looks a bit boring to me. It was definitely the right choice to add another color. And that blue goes really well with the gold.
Fantastic series lads, and some lovely looking minis. I personally think 12 hours for a combat patrol is potentially setting yourselves up for disappointment 😅 I'd suggest a combat patrol over 24hrs (still an awesome achievement) apx a mini or more an hour depending on the patrol. 2 days of 12 hours each day or 4 days of 6 hours etc. It would give you the "wiggle-room" to eat and enjoy the process 😂

K2 needs to learn to paint faster! It’s not hard mate!! The key bit of advice I could give you as a power speed painter is….. don’t be so slow! YOUR WELCOME

Yeah probably wasn’t the smartest move 😂 painting the boyz is the real slog, and also knowing they are just horde minis that die easily 🥲
