AoS has a truly epic range of minis. They keep upping the ante. Ushoran and the new rat prophet are god tier minis. Even my gw hating friend has bought Ushoran. It is sad to see the state of 40k minis. They are just boring

Illuminor Szeras is in my too list, it was the first model that my jaw dropped when it was previewed. From an iconic perspective the Monolith is great. Silent King and Void Dragon are up there but I still haven’t pick up those two models

Maybe I'm scared of the giant minis but a lot of my favourites are pretty small / infantry-sized: Bastian Carthalos and the Light of Eltharion are both in my top five. The Freeguild Cavalier-Marshal isn't just number one, it just might be the best Warhammer model ever IMO

Watching kiran paint is like watching a friend work through stages of grief 😅 The end product always looks stunning. Kiran, my brother, i get that you like to batch like colors, but if you did the units, it would give you an emotion boost every once in a while. I have to swap bach and forth from my CSM army to hit up pannals and skeletons of my chaos kights just to keep my self motivated

AOS has such a cool setting for designing models for, the AOS designers just seem to be having so much fun. All the God models are amazing but my top 5 not taking the god characters. 1. Karazi the Scarred 2. Black coach 3. Belthanos 4. Saurus Scar-Veteran on Aggradon 5. Arkanuat Ironclad

I feel like the Nids is a trust in the process sort of paint scheme. And trying not to get too overwhelmed by the volume of models in front of you.

Internutters 😂 having just built the stormdrakes from AOS mag all i can say is they gonna be as much fun as Thalia vedra and karl franz on deathclaw 😱( I'm on my third attempt of Thalia's ride 🥺the transition between fur to feathers is not the easiest thing to figure out) still researching for the griffin and debating between the heads ( might redo my old world dragons at some stage instead) i was thinking about getting morks cabbage if only for my large dragon collection,,,,🤬🤬🤬i might have to move some of my winged gunpla to display all the aos winged creatures when I get to finish them

Only one of my top 5 was in either list. Aos is just so much deeper in quality of models.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Bladeguard being in there! Surprisingly difficult to pick a top 5 for 40k, even though I tend to paint them for fun... 1: Brutalis Dreadnought. New, larger dreadnoughts got me to actually fall in love with them. I like how this one makes it personal, and very up close with the combat. 2: Angoron. He's got a big axe, need I say more? 3: Lord Invocatus. Mechanical demon dog and a nice big axe. 4: Knight Rampager. Looks nice, has a few options for gear. Looks way better than anything the Imperial Knights have! :P 5: XV88 Broadside Battlesuit. I've always had a soft spot for these guys, even though I sold off my entire Tau army. There's also the whole "yes, I'm hip firing a rail gun, got a problem with that?" kind of look to it too. Honourable mentions: Primaris Eradicators (MELLLLTAAAS!), Canoptek Doomstalker (or even their whole Combat Patrol!), and the Winged Hive Tyrant. ...Nah, I don't like my melee units at all, doubly so if they're wielding axes... Nope nope nope :P :P :P

Oof, you aren't kidding, those are some very tough picks to make... If I had to pick and put them in a particular order, it would probably be... 1: Kragnos, The End of Empires. I just simply want to get this kit, EVEN AT GW PRICING... Every time I see it in the cabinet, I immediately go "I so want to paint that" 2: Verminlord Corruptor. I like Skaven. It looks devious. it looks epic. 3: Daemons of Khorne Bloodthirster. Always did like the Bloodthirster demons, and even have stories from way back when during the Armageddon campaign for 40k (so what, 4th edition?). 4: Krondys, Son of Dracothion. Hubby could care less about Stormcast Eternals, but he likes the look of this one. I do too. 5: Avalenor, the Stoneheart King. Giant mountain cow thing that looks like it's ready to smash some heads in. Could have sworn there used to be more than just two of these, but whatever, this is the one I like out of the two in the store. Honourable mentions go to Kroxigors (I keep wanting to steal hubby's Kroxigors to paint), Saurus Warriors, Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur, and of course, Skinks. While I love my Skaven (SCREAMING BELL, WHOOOOOO!!!) if I were to build a second army for AoS it would more than likely be the Lizardmen (I'm not a fan of the name Seraphon)

So the triumph is expensive, but when you think of it as 6 canonesses glued on the same base, 74£ for 6 characters and the entire casket worth of kitbashing then it's actually not that bad. Been planning on picking one up for the random characters all over sisters

Number one for a mini that massively improves when you remove the character from it? The sphynx is a wonder, but old, metal Teclis was better than the flying horror. Why is he posing like that? Why is his face worse than Marbo? Did he steal MC Hammer's pants?
