Seeing them change hair colors and cuts and different clothing styles, they're getting to do things so many of us never gave a second thought too, so late in life. It's nice to see them embracing their freedom!!
My thoughts exactly. The can finally live. It’s great to see them flourish after such hardship.
Old cell phones should be kept hidden in the homes of people you love, so they always have 911 option, I plugged them in attics of my friends and family.. consider it burying gold if you are reluctant to miss that trade in value, do it later

This might sound cliche but they made me realize that we need to cherish and take advantage of everything we have and can do.
Yes. Many people forget that they're doing things every day that other people can't or might not even know about. Just being able to get up and take a shower every day is a gift.

Exactly it seems they are still having a lot of problems, Authorities responsible for helping them are failing them, inability to access money that was donated to them among other things.

So sad to hear that this family is still being abused now by the system. They are refusing to give family members money from donations and refusing to give answers to where the funds are. Also, some of the younger kids have been placed in allegedly abusive foster homes. We have to do better for people who need care.
There is no way these children would be placed back in abusive homes. This is not true. As much as these children have endured no one would abuse them again. Please check your facts. You are doing a disservice to these children. The money donated is in a fund and is being used for the children.

Two of the foster parents are currently in court for their alleged abuse. Just search it. This actually happens a lot. The foster care system in this country works for some but overall is very flawed to put it lightly.
@@terryKessler42719 I was taken out of my home because of abused and then abused in foster care. I went back to school as an adult and studied this for my Sociology degree. Statistically, kids are actually more likely to be abused in foster homes than they are in their families of origin. There’s a Sociology book called “Shattered Bonds” about abuse in foster care. There is not enough funding for the system to have the oversight of foster homes to make sure they are running well. It’s not an excuse for parents who treat foster kids as a paycheck. Special needs kids like the Turpins bring in several thousand dollars a month each, to foster families. Of course there are abuses of the system. I was a Special Needs child because of trauma. They gave my foster mother extra funds for psychological services and healing experiences not covered by Medicaid. She spent it on clothes, parties, and men, who partied in the house all night.

Do these government people not have hearts? It seems so obvious to me that everyone should have gone far out of their way to make sure these kids had everything they needed…especially the respect they deserve. These are amazing girls and I’m sure all of them are incredible people/kids.
Give these kids access to the money that was raised for their support. Take proper care of them Riverside County! Unbelievable that one of the most horrible examples of child abuse was ultimately continued by the County through negligence. There should be some accountability. The parents got prison. The ones who failed in their oversight, once the rescue occurred, need penalties too.

The system is still controlling this entire family. Holding funds and donations from ever getting to them, etc. it’s pretty horrific after everything they’ve gone through.

You girls (and I'm sure your brothers and sisters too) are amazing. I really want to follow what you both have to say.
I am amazed by Jennifer's incredible strength in spite of the fact you really can see she really suffered. And I am amazed by Jordan's positivity, it seems as if she wasn't even touched by the pain of her upbringing, as if she had an inner angel protecting her or something, although I am sure she went through pain, but it's crazy how motivated and energic she seems in spite of it. Both are incredible in their own special way. And both have equally this special quality that they look trusting and genuine and natural. Natural people are rare. They look without malice. And it is crazy to see that in people that have went through so much! As if there is nothing mean in them in spite of all or so little. I repeat what I wrote under another vid, these two remind me that humans are born strong and good, despite of all.
my only concern is there might be more kids who are chained up & abused aswell, and the gaudians watching this might even make it harder for their child to escape... let it be known to all abusers everything eventually comes to light
Hopefully it'll encourage neighbors to speak up if they are sus of anything.

I had the same story about Justin Bieber with my abusive dad. I was so scared that he would kill me one day. But listening to JB songs and hoping one day I’ll meet him in real life and then I actually did, was giving me some hope.

How can someone who escaped a house of horrors be left to continue in a house where things "were not ok". These kids need education and guidance, not to be left to fend for themselves and have people take advantage of them.

I agree. I was thinking that they need education about sexual predators, scammers, manipulators etc. They are attractive and easy targets because they don't know how the world works yet. Adult bodies but in many ways still immature, vulnerable, uneducated etc. They don't have parents to look out for them. They NEED some parental figures in their lives.
I watched other videos. I feel so bad for what they went through, but they’re clearly incredible, bright people. The talent and intelligence they possess even being stifled for so long. I really hope Justin watches arranges to meet them soon and may even become friends with them. I also hope they never suffer from abuse again. If they’re from a background like that, it might be difficult to find healthy relationships, because you’re so used to being treated poorly that you think that’s normal behavior and tolerate it. With everything they’ve been through, I hope it’s nothing but blue skies and sunshine for the rest of their days ❤️❤️
Justin is a good guy despite what people think, I have a good feeling he’s gonna do something nice for these kids. They need all the understanding, love and help they can get.

They're heros! We often see and teach our kids that heros wear capes and have superpowers. Unknowingly we're teaching them heros means being something out of their reach. These girl are heros, real heros.

Yep and the girls said when they saw him on TV talking about his belief in God is when they told themselves, he believes in God and is happy and has that great life, so we can too and she said it was that interview that inspired her to run away that night. (but 3am in morning) but night for her bc they stayed up at night and slept in the day
They have great hair! For someone who lived without nutrients for years it didn’t effect their hair.
I doubt that. I'm sure it was very thin but they've no we had a few years of decent meals and the human body is very resilient, especially when you're young.
They were like that- severely malnourished. Time has past, they made it out of there in 2018 🙏🏾
