Honestly respect someone with an assault charge more than a cheat, i mean sometimes people have valid reasons for punching someone, but cheating literally no possible justification.
Well, breaking the law isn't always wrong. Laws are really just people's arbitrary opinions written on a piece of paper and enforced by a gun barrel. There are plenty of things that aren't immoral that are illegal.
Cheaters is one of the reasons why I don't think competitive video games should have cross-play between console and PC. Console already has plenty of cheaters who use KBM, anti-recoil mods, wallhacks, etc; a lot of those people played BFV. I don't want to have to deal with even more of them than average.

It was a good way to investigate suspicious people.
Most of the proof would not be available if that guy was not making videos of himself cheating
Spectator mode was pretty flawed though. Shots almost always looked off in that mode.
Spectating was literally the only way to catch people in Apex Legends... Every online multiplayer shooter needs it as a necessity. End of discussion devs.

The scary thing is that his aimbots passed the cheat detection. Which means thousands and thousands more cheaters will emerge soon.
They're already there. Also, aimbots is a thing, but it's the tip of the iceberg compared to wallhackers, we need private servers with active admins and spectate mode.

the new ai cheat detection system is banning aimbot left and right from apex legends,warzone and battlefield titles. the system has been active for 6months. learning what cheats to look for and how to measure properly. its been learning at a geometric rate. in another 6 months i guarantee youll see cheating take a massive blow.

It’s a feature on many cheats called Silent aim. As you can see it’s pretty obvious when someone is using it. I’ve never heard of this guy but I’m surprised he got away with this while cheating so blatantly. Probably due to every BF content creator being called out for cheating by noobs that don’t know how to play the game.

Well shit, I’ve been watching Gemini since before 2042 launched and respected him. Haven’t watched much since he took a couple months off but man I didn’t expect to return to see this. What a scoundrel, but I only wish I’d seen it sooner
I think someone else pointed this out already but this is called Silent Aim (where bullets still hit the target despite the reticle not being on them), probably in conjunction with soft aimbot just to put his reticle in the neighborhood of the targets so it doesn't look so suspicious at full speed. There are a lot of really egregious examples from Warzone 1 before the anti-cheat started making cheating rarer, seems to be a common feature included with cheat software, but probably rarely used since it's so obvious.
I've made videos in the past and covered people cheating Using aimbots and teleport hacks.
But i've never seen an aimbit not match the crosshairs where the bullets are going.
The fact that he has been doing it for so long just shows how fragile 2042's anti cheat is.
I hope dice takes to heart videos like this.
Makes me wonder... if cheats that bend bullets go indetected, how bad is the Panda Anti Cheat really is.

It's not "bending bullets", it seems to make mounted aircraft weapons into auto targeting "gimbled" turrets.
He ain't the only content creator cheating in BF. You will see cheats in lots of famous TH-camr's videos if you know what to look for.

Just figured I'd mention. The 25mm in jets do not go where the crosshairs are when you move fast or hold down the trigger. You actually have to aim with the tracers of the bullets. I'm not saying he isn't cheating the discord forum posts is pretty obvious. I have a ton of kills in both jets. The only way you can be accurate is aiming the tracer of the bullets.

Some maps have double wildcats and tor tanks it sucks. They camp at spawn and make being a jet pilot really hard and frustrating.

I dont normally call out cheaters but in the last week i found 2-3 and took a look at their stat tracker. 2 of them were averaging a 7-9 Human KD with less than 100 hours of play. And only playing every few weeks.
I left comments on his videos from a couple weeks ago and now he locked all comments on all his videos.

so the other day I decided on downloading battlefield 2042 once again, Yes, I'm looking in the refrigerator hoping that something might just appear in it only to find that there are players who are magically shooting me from behind rocks and I'm the one behind the rock and I'm on the other side of the rock. or maybe like Ender's mentioned, they are bending bullets as if the attended The Fraternity.

One thing I've learnt with age is that nothing that is competitive in the world is free from people cheating.
Pro sports are essentially who can use the best drug combos (on top of their skills) in order to outperform the opposition. The average normie still doesn't believe it but bear in mind this is for prize money and glory. The fact people cheat in video games to get attention on social media should really give people a reality check as to managing expectations. Attention is the modern world's most valuable currency because of the money and cheap fame that is to be made on social media.

It's called magic bullets by them. A lot of same vulnerabilities and cheats that exist for BFV are in 2042 too
After all those mindbending Cheats and Hacks availiable for Battlefield 1 and V it was only a matter of time until something similar arrives in 2042 too. Sad, I still hope EA will step in someday.

If only Dice/EA actually cared me & my mates have reported so many cheaters (with footage) on BFV when the game was current and those same people are still playing the same accounts with the same cheats even today... and 2042 is no different.
This isnt a new form of cheat, it has existed for years its silent aimbot. Essentially the aimbot is independent from where you see the person is aiming on screen. This type of aimbot is used to try to hide the fact that the person is cheating because the cheater is often aiming normally its just that the aimbot is locking on to targets regardless of the crosshair placement and without visually snapping to the things its shooting. This is why it looks like the bullets are 'bending' because where the aimbot is actually aiming is not the same as where you visually see the crosshair. It often looks natural because the cheater can aim in the general area of the target to make it look legit, meanwhile the aimbot is locked on regardless of whether the crosshair is properly positioned. The fact that it takes so much scrutiny to prove someone like this is cheating shows how effective it is.

Playing 2042 last night, saw one guy with 242 kills. But this seems to be a regular occurrence lately. It really makes you not want to play this game. Why do people cheat on these games? They are such losers and they ruin it for everyone even for themselves. Eventually they end up alone on those servers because people stop playing the game.
